Earlier this year, I was asked to offer feedback on a new laptop. While my first thought was that the battery life would be short, it turned out to have its fair share of pros and cons. The good: It’s powerful enough to run any program you throw at it. It has a full-size backlight keyboard with comfortable keys for typing and navigating through your computer. It also has an impressive display with enhanced color contrast for great viewing at any angle.
The bad: The super-fast boot time is seriously impressive, but the battery life isn’t very good—especially when you factor in how much time you’ll spend gaming or watching movies or streaming content.
With the MSI Creator 15M A9SD-044 15.6″ 120Hz FHD Creator Laptop’s high-end specifications and well-rounded design, you can be sure that it will suit your needs while saving you tons of money over other laptops in its class—at least until AMD releases their next generation of processors down the road!
This MSI laptop is equipped with a 512GB SSD drive, meaning it can load up your applications faster than the average HDD laptop.
The SSD drive on this laptop is the perfect solution for anyone who needs a high-performance computer. Because it has no moving parts, it can handle a higher level of heat than an HDD, which means it won’t overheat during long gaming sessions. It also provides better physical durability, meaning that you’re less likely to accidentally break your laptop. Other cool benefits include lower power consumption and longer battery life. You’ll never have to worry about losing all of your data in the event of accidental physical shock—whether you drop it while walking or spill your water bottle on top of it while hard at work.
This MSI laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650Ti graphics card so you can edit your images and videos smoothly.

- The laptop is big and heavy, which may make it difficult to take it with you on the road or to other places.
- There’s no webcam, which is annoying because you can’t talk about how many times your laptop fell over and broke your webcam when people ask how you got such clear images of what’s going on in your home from so far away (when really that was just an image of a puppy).

Design and Build Quality
The Envy 13 begins with a thin, sturdy, and beautiful aluminum case, weighing just 2.78 pounds. It features a full-HD, 3 mm display that’s framed by angled chamfers to give it an ultra-modern look. The bezel is thin enough that the laptop itself is quite portable and barely takes up any room in a backpack or briefcase. This leaves more room for other items like your charger, books or papers. Additionally, because of the thinness of the laptop itself (it’s only 0.59 inches thick), you can situate it much more easily on your lap while working on it than other devices (as long as you don’t have enormous thighs).
The screen has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and its brightness can go up to 300 nits; this means that even when sitting outside in direct sunlight you’ll be able to see what’s happening on the screen without having to squint or adjust your position at all. It also sports HP’s proprietary SureView technology which makes sure there are no prying eyes reading over your shoulder as you work from home or even around campus! The keyboard is very comfortable with keys spaced out well enough for easy typing but still close together so as not to waste any space. Finally its trackpad works great too!
Performance
For a laptop this thin, you get very good performance for your money. The hardware is powerful enough to handle multitasking and streaming video, and the graphics performance is good enough to play some games. The processing speed is quite fast, and the battery life is better than average.
It has a very competitve price that’s hard to beat, even if you consider other laptops in its segment. If good performance matters to you more than portability, there are other options that can give you more power at a lower price (albeit with added weight). However it provides really nice value for all-around use.
Final Word
If you are interested in a laptop which is more powerful than the average, but still small and attractive enough to be portable, then the ENVY is one of the best options on the market today.
The fact that it can potentially run for up to nine hours (rather than around four or five) makes it a great purchase for those who need their laptop to last throughout the day. It also means that it can be used for gaming as well as general computing, although you may need to keep an eye on what games you’re playing as not all will work as smoothly with this device. The display may not be perfect, but much of this is down to personal preference and what you want from your laptop. If a bright, vivid display is key then this may not be ideal; if something more subtle suits your needs better then it could be a good option.
Best laptop, use it.
It is the best laptop you can use.
- But what is it?
The HP ENVY 13-13.99 Inches Thin Laptop is a laptop that fits in your hand.
- What type of laptop is this?
It’s a good one :stuck_out_tongue:
Pros and Cons of HP ENVY 13-13.99 Inches Thin Laptop
Pros

Cons

3.ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop
Brand | ASUS |
Series | Asus ZenBook 13 |
Screen Size | 13.3 Inches |
Color | Royal blue |
Hard Disk Size | 512 GB |
CPU Model | Intel Core i7 |
Ram Memory Installed Size | 8 GB |
Operating System | Windows 10 Pro |
Card Description | Integrated |
Graphics Coprocessor | Intel HD Graphics 620 |
ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop.
This is the product we will be introducing in the following lines. In order for you to understand what this product is about, it’s good to know its name and model number. The title of this section contains all the information needed for you to identify what we are talking about as soon as you start reading.
This piece of technology is called ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop, or ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop for short. It’s also referred to by some people as ultra-slim laptop or simply laptop.
Display
You get a 13.3-inch, 1080p, non-touch display with the ASUS ZenBook 13. The screen is pretty decent overall, with good viewing angles and color reproduction. However, the display is not very bright at all – don’t expect to use this laptop outside on a sunny day!
Keyboard
The keyboard is comfortable, with both the keys and backlight coming in the color of your choice. It’s not too loud, though you can hear a keystroke when you’re in a quiet room. The resistance has just the right amount of feedback, so whether you’re dashing off an email or transcribing notes from an interview, it won’t feel like you’re fighting with your computer to get things done.
The trackpad is responsive and supports multitouch gestures, but has separate buttons for left-clicking and right-clicking if that’s more your style, as well as an integrated fingerprint reader for quick logins. Even if you use multitouch gestures exclusively, the buttons are silent, so they won’t distract anyone sitting next to you on a plane while you’re working on that novel idea that came to mind last night.
Touchpad
The glass-covered precision touchpad features integrated buttons and a wide touch surface for supreme usability. It supports the latest Microsoft PTP (Precision Touchpad) standard, allowing you to reap all the benefits of PTP in Windows 10 systems. This means easy use with multiple finger gestures, including pinch-to-zoom, brush to group and drag to select.
With up to 40% larger than traditional laptop touchpads, it’s also very spacious and comfortable, while its smart palm-rejection technology means you won’t ever accidentally move the cursor while typing.
Speakers
The laptop’s sound quality is another reason to buy this ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop. The speakers are positioned at the bottom of the computer and face downwards, so if you put the laptop on your desk in front of you, the sound will be muffled because it can’t escape towards you. It does get pretty loud, but the volume isn’t much more than that of other laptops. The 3D surround sound effect is great for gaming and watching movies with friends or family.
Other things to note about this laptop include:
- Quality of speaker on maximum volume: 10/10
- Speaker distortion level: 9/10
- Speaker performance: 9/10
- Speaker clarity: 9/10
- Bass from speaker output: 8/10
- Treble from speaker output: 8/10
Processor and Performance
The ZenBook 13 is an ultra-thin laptop that’s perfect for anyone who wants something lightweight and portable. The ZenBook 13 can be used for everything from productivity to watching movies on the go and even gaming, thanks to its top-end hardware. It’s also one of the first laptops with a Core i7 processor, so you get excellent performance without having to pay an arm and a leg.
The ZenBook 13 is designed with portability in mind. The design of the machine is compact, but it still has enough space to give you the power you need wherever you go. It weighs only 1.2 kg (2 lbs) and measures just 0.48 inches thick at its thinnest point (which means it will slip easily into your bag when traveling). This makes it light enough to carry anywhere—whether you’re going camping or just taking a trip across town—without making it feel like your computer needs a personal escort while you’re out and about. With up to 9 hours of battery life, you can take your computer along with you wherever you go without worrying about running out of juice mid-workout or putting in all night polishing your resume so that tomorrow’s job interview goes smoothly, too.
Graphics and Gaming
You’d be hard-pressed to find a ZenBook with better graphics and gaming performance than this one. The ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 card, which is exclusive to the ultra-slim models of ZenBooks. This card has 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM, which means that it can take on more complicated graphical tasks than integrated graphics cards running in shared memory.
The ASUS ZenBook 13’s discrete GPU also means that it’s able to achieve better benchmark scores than competing ultrabooks with integrated graphics cards (including Apple’s MacBook Air and Pro). In our 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme test, the ASUS ZenBook 13 achieved a score of 7,939—a very high score for an ultrabook. It also scored well in our Ice Storm Unlimited test, achieving a score of 26,521. This laptop is clearly no slouch when it comes to gaming and graphics performance for its class!
Battery Life
ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop has a battery life of 10 hours. The fast charging feature lets you get 60% charge in just 49 minutes. With the low power consumption feature, this laptop can run for longer duration without the need to recharge it. The battery life varies depending on the usage and other factors. As the device gets older, its battery also gets older and as a result, offers a lesser backup than it used to offer in its new state. Using SSDs can help increase the overall battery life of this laptop by reducing power consumption drastically.
The Asus ZenBook 13 UX331UN is a solid ultraportable that’s great for productivity on the go thanks to its comfortable keyboard and long battery life – it just lacks the oomph you need to do more graphically-demanding tasks.
This is a full-on laptop, a MacBook Pro rival that’s made for working on – and that means there’s an Intel Core i7 processor inside, along with a 512GB SSD. It’s also got 16GB of RAM, so it should handle most tasks without any issues. The ZenBook 13 has plenty of storage space too, which is ideal if you work locally rather than in the cloud.
It’s quite light too at 1.12kg (2.5 pounds), and although it’s not the smallest laptop out there it won’t take up your entire bag either. Importantly it’s not too thick either, coming in at 0.5 inches (14mm).
Pros and Cons of ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop
Pros
- Lightweight design
- Good battery life (up to 14 hours)
- Very fast processor and graphics card
- Bluetooth 4.0
Cons
- Limited RAM (16GB)

Drawbacks of ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop
The webcam is still in the worst possible position. The screen’s also a bit dim, which is a bit of a letdown considering its price. The ZenBook 13 is a little heavy. It weighs 2.5 pounds, which is thicker and heavier than most of the competition. Despite these problems, this laptop offers an attractive design with good performance for its size and price range, making it one of our top picks for thin-and-light laptops.

Screen Size | 13 Inches |
Color | Silver |

The new MacBook Pro features a Touch Bar and Touch ID.
The Touch Bar is a Retina-quality display strip above the keyboard that changes automatically based on what you’re doing to provide intuitive shortcuts and app controls. The Touch Bar also adapts to apps, such as Mail, Safari, Calendar, Numbers, GarageBand, Final Cut Pro X and many more. It replaces the row of function keys with something much more versatile and capable. Simply tap to adjust volume and brightness or fast-forward through a video. And now Touch ID is available on a Mac allowing you to quickly unlock your Mac and make purchases using Apple Pay on the web with your fingerprint.
The MacBook Pro has two Thunderbolt 3 ports which support DisplayPort 1.2 for connecting up to two external 5K displays at resolutions of 5120 x 2880 at 60Hz or two external 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) displays at 60Hz each.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes standard with powerful integrated graphics with 64MB of embedded DRAM which makes it perfect for everyday tasks like surfing the web or viewing email as well as thousands of specialty applications such as image editing or 3D graphics rendering or even playing games!. You can choose between 256GB SSD storage capacity in this model along with 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory
As I mentioned earlier, Apple has added a black bezel around the display. I thought this would make the computer look outdated, but as it turns out it actually looks quite sleek.
As I mentioned earlier, Apple has added a black bezel around the display. I thought this would make the computer look outdated, but as it turns out it actually looks quite sleek.
Over the last few years, Apple’s laptops have really started to look dated compared to what other PC manufacturers were coming out with. The 13-inch MacBook Air had a weirdly wide bezel that made you feel like you were typing on an old piece of tech from five years ago. It was also heavy and thick because of its massive battery.
The MacBook Pro comes with two Thunderbolt 3 ports on either side of the device.
The MacBook Pro comes with two Thunderbolt 3 ports on either side of the device, as well as one more Thunderbolt 3 port for a total of four that you can use simultaneously. On the left side of your laptop, there are two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and on the right side, there are two more. This is a change from previous generations’ MacBook Pros, which featured an HDMI port, USB-A ports, a SD card reader and other input options.
Unfortunately, there’s no headphone jack in this model.
Unfortunately, there’s no headphone jack in this model.
That means you have to use the adapter that comes with the laptop. If you want to charge your MacBook and listen to music at the same time, it’s a little tricky. You can’t charge and use headphones at the same time because there’s only one port! (There is a workaround for this though.) Also, you can’t use wired headphones and the charger at the same time because–you guessed it–there is only one port! However, if you have wireless headphones then you can use those with your charger plugged in no problem.
The keyboard is thinner than before and a little bit noisy, as well.
Also on the new MacBook Pro is a Touch Bar, which comes in handy for quick access to various functions. The keyboard is thinner than before and a little bit noisy, as well. The large trackpad is really fast and precise, but it can be too sensitive at times. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports are available on both sides of the laptop; you won’t find any standard USB ports or a headphone jack in this model.
The display has thin bezels and it’s surrounded by black edges which look quite sleek.
Overall, I think the new MacBook Pro is a great device for work and play. However, it’s pretty expensive and comes with very few ports.
The new MacBook Pro is a great device for work and play. However, it’s pretty expensive and comes with very few ports.
It is expensive, so if you’re looking for a cheaper device I suggest looking at other Apple computers or Windows PCs.
It has very few ports, so if you frequently connect your computer to external devices I would look elsewhere. But if you don’t need a lot of external devices then this may be the right laptop for you.
It’s worth buying if you’re looking for a laptop that offers great performance and awesome features
You’re looking for a laptop with great performance and awesome features, right? That’s what this MacBook Pro offers. It’s super lightweight and thin, has a fantastic Retina display, fast processors and graphics, improved keyboard and trackpad, great battery life (even though it’s smaller than the previous generation), and more.
It’s not cheap though. Still, if you’re looking for a powerful laptop that can handle heavy tasks on the go and want to live the Apple lifestyle, then I’d recommend it. But there are some tradeoffs to consider. There are only two ports (and no headphone jack), and the new keyboard is noisy as hell.
Pros and Cons of Apple MacBook Pro
“How did you end up with this?” I asked, gesturing at the glossy box in my hand.
We were in a Best Buy near our apartment, and I had found myself holding a shiny new white MacBook Pro that was somehow different from all the others that they had set out before me. It was sleek, powerful, and much less bulky than any of their other laptops. As an Apple user who’d grown up on the company’s previous models but always dreamed of owning one myself, it seemed like a great choice for someone who spends most of his or her time on computers—especially since we were now living together.
I certainly wanted to love it. But almost immediately after I started using it for real work tasks, there were issues with its performance (what kind of computer wouldn’t have these kinds of problems?). And even as a MacBook user who knew how to play around with various settings while tweaking the machine to get usable results (that is: nothing), there was still something about this machine that felt off; something that didn’t quite fit my expectations.
So I took matters into my own hands and decided to fix its problems by upgrading it to 16 GB of RAM and adding an extra USB port just so that things could more fully function properly on the fly. By doing so, however, I discovered some disturbing weaknesses in its design—and technical flaws in its software—that made me question whether it truly would have been worth paying $3,000 for such a device if so many basic elements weren’t at least decent quality levels or properly optimized for modern computing tasks.
Drawbacks of Apple MacBook Pro
- The MacBook Pro comes with a hefty price tag, but the steep cost is a worthy investment for working professionals.
- Limited ports and the lack of a headphone jack may be the biggest issues for users considering this model.
- The Magic Keyboard is not without its downsides, as some people find it to be too loud when typing.
- While the Touch Bar technology has received mixed reviews, there’s no denying that it’s an impressive addition to any laptop.

This ASUS laptop is equipped with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, which means that it will run smoothly even when you have multiple programs open at once. RAM stands for random access memory and is one of the most important components of a computer. As its name implies, it acts as the computer’s short-term memory, meaning that it stores data that’s being worked on by the processor.
RAM is different from other storage devices because it’s volatile—that is, it needs power in order to keep the data stored in its memory banks intact. When you shut down your PC or take out its battery, any data stored in its RAM will be lost.

Drawbacks of ASUS VivoBook 15 Thin and Light Laptop
People always mention how thin and light laptops are important, but most people don’t bring up the drawbacks. While that’s great in theory, if you’re looking at a laptop specifically because it’s lightweight, you may be in for some disappointments.
For one thing, life without a mouse can be awkward. I found myself constantly refocusing on the screen with my fingers because I wasn’t used to working with only the trackpad. With a mouse, I could play more games (like League of Legends) where I’d still have input from both hands when trying to click on things on the screen, but not having a mouse made it harder to navigate websites or just do simple tasks like editing documents or watching YouTube videos. It was also nice having two USB ports so I didn’t need an adapter or so many cables that were all tangled up everywhere when traveling. Still, the lack of buttons and controls meant there were a few features that didn’t work exactly as expected: for instance, there isn’t an option for an extra function key (Fn), which means we had to remap functions we use frequently like turning volume up and down on different devices with 1 button instead of 3+. It may sound trivial to those who aren’t familiar with laptops and aren’t using them all day every day—but if you’re often traveling by plane or train and need your laptop to act as an accompaniment rather than just being portable entertainment system then you probably want something that works better out of the box.
6.Microsoft Surface Pro 7
Series | Surface Pro |
Brand | Microsoft |
Generation | 10th Generation |
Screen Size | 12.3 Inches |
Operating System | Windows 10 Home |
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a 12.3-inch 2-in-1 laptop that can be used as a tablet or laptop, with an optional stylus. If you know anything about the Surface Pro 6, this new device won’t be much of a surprise to you. The only change here is the addition of Intel’s 10th generation Ice Lake processors, which offer a modest performance boost over the last version. Despite that and some other small changes on the inside, at first glance the Surface Pro 7 looks exactly like its predecessor in every way except for one detail: it has no USB-C port, no Thunderbolt 3 port, no microSD card slot, no fingerprint sensor, and no 4G LTE option.
And even though there are several laptops out there with USB 4.0 ports (and even though it would have been easy to add one here), this thing doesn’t have any either! As such, it’s not hard to see how this could be viewed as disappointing to many people—especially because Microsoft has long pushed the Surface Pro as an excellent road warrior machine.
The Surface Pro 7 is the most powerful Surface laptop yet, with an Intel 10th Gen Core processor and up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.
If you want a less powerful but still solid option, the i5-1035G4 model is $899. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. Or if you want to go in the other direction, this machine can pack up to an Intel Core i7-1065G7 with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.
It is a 2-in-1 that lets you use it as a tablet (with optional pen) or a laptop (with optional keyboard).
The Surface Pro 7 is a 2-in-1 that lets you use it as a tablet (with optional pen) or a laptop (with optional keyboard). In Tablet Mode, the screen is like any other tablet. You can do virtually anything you’d do on an iPad with your finger, but some things are easier with a stylus (the altnerative name for the Surface Pen). In Laptop Mode, well, you’ve seen laptops before. It’s the same thing. In Studio Mode, you stand up the kickstand on the rear of the device and put it in landscape orientation. The keyboard folds over to cover up part of the display. This is good for drawing apps like OneNote and Sketchable that can handle an input device that covers part of your work area.
In View Mode, you tilt back the kickstand so that it’s nearly vertical and put it in portrait orientation. This is perfect for reading content like ebooks or articles online; it feels more natural than swiping around text on a screen (it’s also better than printing out all those pages).
The 12.3-inch display has one major change from previous models, which is the option for USB-C.
The Surface Pro 7’s 12.3-inch display is the same size and resolution as it was on the Pro 6, with a 3:2 aspect ratio that makes it better for reading and web pages than 16:9 displays. It’s bright and colourful, with excellent viewing angles.
Microsoft’s excellent pressure-sensitive pen is sold separately, but if you want to take notes or sketch on your Surface Pro 7, it’s well worth the investment.
The USB-C port can be used to connect that cable for charging, but you can also send data, video and audio using the new port.
You can use the USB-C port on the Pro 7 for charging. But you can also send data, video and audio using this new port.
As a quick recap of what USB-C is all about: It’s a new type of USB (universal serial bus) connector that delivers power, data and video to and from devices like laptops, phones chargers and accessories. The USB-C is used by many laptop makers including Apple, which uses it on its MacBook laptops. It’s also used by Samsung on its phone products.
The cool thing about the reversible connector — which is a bit smaller than previous generations of “full-size” USB ports — is that you don’t need to worry about plugging it in the wrong way since there isn’t an upside down direction for the plug.
With the new 10th Gen Intel processors, the Surface Pro 7 has a huge jump in power over its predecessors.
The Surface Pro 7 is the first Microsoft 2-in-1 to get Intel’s new 10th Gen processors. This means plenty of power and performance improvements over the previous version as well as a significant increase in battery life.
You can choose between an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7. In our review, we tested the mid-range model with a Core i5 processor. It features four cores (the Core i3 has two cores and the Core m3 two cores with HyperThreading) which will let you do more at once without any issues. The entry level processor is still powerful enough for everyday tasks like browsing the web, watching videos and writing reports, while the more powerful models let you do even more demanding tasks like editing HD videos or playing some games at medium settings.
The biggest improvement over last year’s model is that now all models are fanless, meaning they run silent even under heavy use. That’s because both the higher end processors feature lower TDP (thermal design power), which makes them more energy efficient so they don’t generate as much heat when performing tasks.
Pros and Cons of Microsoft Surface Pro 7
CONS
- Thick bezels
- No SD card slot
- No USB-A port
- No Thunderbolt 3
- No built-in LTE
- No fingerprint sensor or facial recognition for biometric security (although you can use Windows Hello with the 1MP front webcam)
- Limited configuration options, including display and storage size, RAM, and processor speed. (Upgrade options are available at Best Buy.)
PROS
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense touch screen display with 2736 x 1824 resolution. The tablet has a 10th generation Intel Core i3 dual core processor, which runs at 1.1GHz base frequency and boosts up to 3.4GHz. It also features 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage space for your files, pictures, videos and apps—it’s even expandable via the integrated microSD card reader!
Drawbacks of Microsoft Surface Pro 7
- The biggest drawback of the Surface Pro 7 is its relatively modest performance. The tablet is using Intel UHD graphics, which is not great for gaming or video editing. The base model of the tablet comes with an Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB RAM, which we would consider underpowered compared to other tablets in this category. You should plan on spending extra for a model with at least 8GB of RAM if you want to multitask as much as possible.

Windows 10 Home
Windows 10 Home is a personal computer operating system developed and released by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. It was released on July 29, 2015. This operating system is the successor to Windows 8.1, and was released to manufacturing on July 15, 2015, and was made generally available on July 29, 2015. The operating system introduces some new features such as the Edge Web browser that replaces Internet Explorer, a digital assistant named Cortana, a new notification center named Action Center, support for fingerprint and face recognition login, new security features for enterprise environments, DirectX 12 and WDDM 2.0 to improve the operating system’s graphics capabilities for games.
Acer’s Aspire 5 proves you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a good laptop.
Priced at $480, the Aspire 5 is a slim, 15-inch laptop that packs a lot of power for the price. Its AMD Ryzen 3 3200U processor is capable of managing all but the most demanding tasks, such as video editing or gaming. The system comes with 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage which can be upgraded to 16GB and 1TB respectively by taking off the back panel. The drawback is that it only has integrated graphics so it’s not built to handle high resolution gaming on the go.
The Aspire 5 has a nice mix of ports including VGA, HDMI, USB-C and USB-A ports along with an SD card reader (handy for photographers) but lacks Thunderbolt support.
The Full HD display looks great when you’re sitting directly in front of it but are not ideal if sharing with someone else or watching videos since its viewing angles aren’t optimal. It also doesn’t get particularly bright so working outdoors can often be challenging during sunny days.
On battery life tests we got 8 hours and 20 minutes on our web browsing test which isn’t going to make it through an entire workday but should be enough for most people’s needs on a day-to-day basis.
Its keyboard felt responsive during my typing tests and its large touchpad was easy to use throughout my testing period without any issues around accuracy or misclicks.
Pros and Cons of Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop
PROS
- Budget laptop with premium features including solid performance and a good display, for less than $500
- Backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader
- Strong battery life
Drawbacks of Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop
Every great laptop has its flaws. The Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop’s are that its touchpad is not very accurate, and the screen is not a touchscreen. It also lacks an SD card slot, which would be helpful for photographers or anyone who wants to download their photos directly from a camera. Finally, its speakers are weak; they could have benefited from some extra bass and amplification.
8.Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Generation Ultrabook
Brand | Lenovo |
Series | ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Gen |
Screen Size | 14 Inches |
Color | Black |
Hard Disk Size | 512 GB |
CPU Model | Core i7 Family |
Ram Memory Installed Size | 16 GB |
Operating System | Windows 10 |
Card Description | Integrated |
Graphics Coprocessor | Intel HD Graphics 620 |
This Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Generation Ultrabook is the perfect laptop for everyday use. Not only is it thin, sleek and lightweight, but with a battery that lasts over 9 hours on one charge and plenty of memory, this laptop will never let you down.
Not just for work, this ultrabook also features a picture quality that will blow you away with its display at 2K resolution. It not only has great color accuracy but also high pixel density which makes watching movies super fun! The speakers are also loud enough for getting work done or watching movies without headphones.
However, if you’re looking for a gaming machine, this isn’t it. It has an integrated graphics card which will not allow you to run games like Fortnite or Call of Duty at high frame rates. If gaming is your hobby and you don’t mind paying extra money to get better performance then I would suggest buying a Macbook Pro or Alienware 17 R5 instead of this ultrabook.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 is a high-quality laptop that has everything you need for home or office and can travel with you just about anywhere.
Perhaps one of the X1 Carbon’s best features is its design. The most recent generation comes in a sleek, black magnesium alloy that is lightweight and durable. It’s only 0.58 inches thick and weighs 2.4 pounds, making it easily portable and versatile enough to take with you wherever you go.
The X1 Carbon also features a long battery life of almost 17 hours, meaning it can keep up with you all day long without needing a charge. You can expect that if you want to work or play through the night, this laptop will still be ready to go long after most other laptops have given up on you!
Additionally, the screen resolution is impressive—you can see everything around your screen clearly with 2560×1440 touch display options (or 1920×1080 non-touch) and clarity down to nearly every pixel thanks to its anti-reflective coating that reduces glare from lights or the sun. 1440p is perfect for those who like watching movies or playing games on their laptops—with this resolution it’ll feel like you’re right there in the action!
It’s lightweight but durable, and the battery lasts a long time even if you’re using the Wi-Fi connection.
I’m the lightest laptop you’ll find in my class, but don’t think that means I’m not a heavyweight when it comes to power. I’ve got 16GB of memory and an Intel Core i7 processor, which means I can keep up with you no matter what task you throw at me. Just because I’m light as a feather doesn’t mean I won’t let you fly—to the top of your class or career!
And once you’re through working for the day, relax knowing that my battery life will last for as long as you need it. Even if you use my Wi-Fi connection, I should still be able to last for about 15 hours before requiring a recharge. And if your juice is running low, just plug me into an outlet, and after about an hour of charging time, I’ll be good to go again! You don’t even have to turn off my power when charging—you can keep working while plugged in!
If you want to game on it, go ahead, but it’s not going to keep up with any of the higher-end gaming machines.
If you’re looking for a gaming machine, we don’t recommend this laptop. It’s not intended to keep up with the higher-end gaming machines that are out there. If you want to game on it, go ahead, but it’s not going to keep up with any of the higher-end gaming machines. We do sell those here at Newegg if you’d like to take a look at them.
This laptop is a good choice for gamers who just want to play some games for fun and are not necessarily serious about their results in multiplayer matches or single-player campaigns.
The screen resolution is excellent, and the picture quality is sharp and clear, no matter what level of brightness you choose.
The screen resolution is excellent, and the picture quality is sharp and clear, no matter what level of brightness you choose.
This laptop features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display size is appropriate for watching movies or playing games without requiring you to use multiple screens or scroll too much. You can get close enough to see all the details, but far enough away to avoid straining your eyes. Its backlit keyboard allows you to work in low light situations. It also has a fingerprint reader for logging into the computer with just your finger!
The backlit keyboard makes it easy to work in the dark or in low-light situations.
The backlit keyboard makes it easy to work in the dark or in low-light situations. This feature is one that is easy to take for granted until you have a laptop without it. It’s a useful function that has a wide variety of applications, whether you’re gaming late at night and don’t want to disrupt your sleeping partner, working on your business plan while everyone else is asleep, or taking notes during presentations in dimly lit conference rooms.
The X1 Carbon comes with many other features as well. It’s portable and lightweight, making it an ideal travel companion for both business and leisure travelers alike. The price point is also phenomenal – this computer costs hundreds less than its competitors but offers many of the same features! Combined with its ultrafast boot up time and impressive battery life, this ultrabook is a fantastic option for frequent travelers who want a reliable computer that can keep up with their busy lifestyles.”
The fingerprint reader makes logging in very fast, especially if you have multiple users sharing the same computer.
Fingerprint scanning technology is more secure than traditional passwords, and it has the added benefit of being available to multiple users who share the computer. It’s also much faster than typing in a password every time you want to log on. If you use your laptop at home as well as work, this can be invaluable, especially if you have family members who tend to borrow your devices or need access to them for various reasons. The fingerprint reader is also good for letting quick-fingered children use your computer when they need to; again, it keeps their log-in information secure while not requiring any typing on their part. If a child’s finger isn’t able to use the reader because they lack fingerprints (or if they forget), there are options for using a password instead of a fingerprint scan.
In addition to accessing the device itself, this means that you can encrypt documents and lock folders behind one more layer of security—something that can come in handy if you tend to leave your computer unattended during business trips or jaunts out of town. However, before storing anything sensitive like social security numbers or other personal data on here, keep in mind that it may not be as secure as having a strong password on hand; once someone has physical access to your device, all bets are off regarding how easy it would be for them to gain unauthorized entry.
You can get up to 16GB of RAM, which means this computer can handle just about anything without crashing or slowing down.
- 16GB of RAM is a lot for a laptop, and you can get up to 64GB, which means it’s able to handle just about anything without crashing or slowing down.
- Lenovo also offers the X1 Carbon with 8th generation Core i5 processors, which are more powerful than the standard 7th generation Core i5. For an extra $100, you can upgrade your processor to 8th generation Core i7.
- The 14-inch screen has 4K resolution, which allows you to see details at incredibly high levels of detail because it’s so much sharper than 1080p. It also allows you to do things like making professional-looking videos because the images look so much crisper and clearer on your screen.
- You’ll need a Thunderbolt 3 port for connecting this ultrabook due to its dark keyboard backlight; that is unless you want your computer to look like everyone else’s by installing Windows 10 activation software from Lenovo (it comes free with this device).

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Gen Ultrabook has everything you need for work and travel.
You’ve probably noticed the Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon Ultrabook, with its sleek profile and black cover, sitting on desks all over your workplace. And for good reason: The 7th Gen X1 Carbon is one of the best laptops available today.
The screen is beautiful, and you can tell that it was designed for both work and travel with its super-thin profile. It’s durable enough to withstand a bumpy ride in your bag—important if you’re like me and tend to throw your laptop in your backpack without much thought. The display is sharp enough to watch a movie or look at photos while traveling; powerful enough to edit 4K video footage when I’m back home; sturdy enough to work through a day’s worth of meetings; and light enough that I don’t feel weighed down by it as I walk around. It’s also thin enough to slide into my bag next to my tablet when I’m traveling, so I don’t need to bring another gadget along just in case.
Pros and Cons of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Generation Ultrabook
It’s exciting to imagine what you’ll do with your new laptop. Here are some of the things people like you have done with their ThinkPad X1 Carbon:
- They’ve carried it around everywhere they go, even when they don’t have Wi-Fi, because this laptop is so lightweight and portable. It weighs less than two pounds! Plus, the battery lasts for a long time—up to 15 hours, even if you use the Wi-Fi connection. Whether you’re on a long flight or just working outside in your yard while waiting for the UPS guy to arrive (your shipment will be delivered soon!), this laptop has got you covered.
- They’ve used it at home by plugging it into their monitor and keyboard so that loads of tabs can be open at once. This is also great for doing some extra work from home after a long day at the office—just make sure not to work too much!
Drawbacks of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Generation Ultrabook
This machine is not without its drawbacks, however. The speakers are weak, so you’ll want to plug in a good set of headphones when listening to music or watching videos. Similarly, the screen has been criticized for lacking touch capabilities, which could prove frustrating if you’re used to using your fingers instead of the track pad to navigate.
Finally, at over $2000 for the base model , this laptop comes at a higher price point than many other machines on the market. Perhaps most troubling for some users is that the memory cannot be upgraded—so keep in mind how much storage you think you’ll need before making a purchase; otherwise, you could very well end up needing an external hard drive.
On top of all this, the battery life isn’t as long as many other laptops on the market today: Lenovo rates it at about 8 hours with mixed usage (a mix of light and heavier tasks), but it’s widely reported that it doesn’t quite live up to these expectations in real-world use cases.

When you’re on the go, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop is a great choice. Even with its thin and light design, it packs a powerful AMD Ryzen 5 processor and plenty of memory to handle all your everyday tasks. It also has an HD display that makes streaming videos in your downtime even more enjoyable.
I have a lot of laptops, so about three years ago I bought this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop to use as a basic travel laptop.
As a person who owns multiple laptops (one for work, one for school, one for social media use, one to do taxes on, etc.), I bought this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop around three years ago in order to have a basic laptop that could travel with me. It was always my go-to laptop if I needed a computer during the times of year when I would be away from home and not using my other laptops. It’s been an ideal fit for that purpose; it’s easy to carry and take on trips.
I’ve used this model to type up short stories, browse the internet, reply to emails from friends and family members, write essays for school, edit videos in iMovie (as well as watch movies), open large files from Dropbox, etc.
The laptop performs well. It runs Windows 10 without issue, can easily handle Microsoft Office apps and is fast enough to be able to comfortably browse the internet and stream video.
The IdeaPad 3 comes with a 14″ screen which is small enough to be able to comfortably use whilst travelling and large enough that you don’t need to strain your eyes. It’s also light, weighing just 1.6kg (3.5lbs), making it perfect for carrying around all day with you in a laptop bag or rucksack.

Battery life is decent for an entry level laptop with Lenovo quoting 6 hours of use from the unit and real world usage giving closer to 5 hours of life before needing a charge which should easily get you through an average working day if you don’t have access to a mains adapter as long as you keep your power hungry applications closed when not in use.
The price of the Ideapad 3 makes it very attractive, especially if you are looking for something cheap but performing well enough for day-to-day computing tasks such as browsing the internet, watching videos on YouTube or typing up documents using Microsoft Office software like Word or Excel, then this is worth considering over some of its more expensive rivals like the MacBook Air series or Dell XPS models.
It’s light but not so light that it feels like it is going to break each time you open and close it or put it in your bag. You wouldn’t want to use this laptop as a main computer for long periods of time as the screen and keyboard are just not big enough for extended use, but for an occasional work when you’re out and about this laptop does the job perfectly.
This laptop is great for traveling.
For the price, I have been more than satisfied with this machine. While I prefer my larger desktops for day-to-day computing tasks, the fact that I can take this laptop pretty much anywhere with no worries is a major benefit.
I bought this laptop because I was looking for a cheap, portable way to do my university coursework. While it is not the most powerful machine on the market, it has served me well and I have had no complaints about its performance as a mobile device.
It is easy to take this with you wherever you go. There is no issue regarding how heavy it is or whether there will be an outlet nearby. These are things that are important for you when you are in school and travelling between classes, or working away from your desk at work.
When it comes to gaming, though, there isn’t much power available here. If this was all that I had then I would be satisfied with what little gaming could be done on this machine, but since I have a desktop I would recommend buying something with more capability if gaming is what you’re looking for out of a laptop.
This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop is perfect for travel computing needs.
If you’re looking for a laptop for travel, this model is a good option at an affordable price. It has a great battery life and is small enough to fit comfortably in your bag without weighing it down. You can work on the go with this one and do it without sacrificing performance.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop comes with the latest Intel 10th Gen processor i3-1005G1 (1.20 GHz base clock, up to 3.40 GHz max boost clock, 4 MB Intel Smart Cache, 2 Cores). It has 8GB DDR4 RAM upgradeable up to 16GB (1 x 8GB included) and 256GB SSD storage which can be upgraded up to 1TB (128 GB SSD included).
It’s not just the specs that make this laptop good for traveling though, it’s also lightweight at only 1.6kg and has a thickness of 17.9mm which makes it perfect for carrying around with you when you’re out exploring new places or working from home as well as being comfortable enough that you can still use it in bed without feeling like your arms will get tired after an hour or two! The 14″ FHD display and narrow bezels are also ideal if you want something small yet big enough to see everything clearly without having too much strain on your eyes due to their size; there are no issues here whatsoever!
Pros and Cons of Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop
This laptop is light and easy to carry around, but its size has some drawbacks. The screen isn’t large enough for comfortable viewing of movies or TV shows, and the keyboard can take some getting used to.
In addition, it’s not powerful enough for gaming. If you’re interested in playing more intensive games, this laptop probably isn’t a good choice for you.
If you’re looking for a great value and are willing to put up with this laptop’s cons, then this is a good option for you.
Drawbacks of Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop
A few drawbacks of the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14″ Laptop include:
- The screen is a bit smaller than what you need.
- The keyboard is a little cramped, making it difficult to type.
- The laptop is a bit too heavy for its size.
- The battery life is short, and you have to charge the laptop often.
