It’s got a powerful CPU and enough RAM to handle most high-end needs, and the storage system is flexible enough for rendering large files. The screen is of high quality, and it’s useful having the option of a touchscreen if you require it.

drwabacks of Lenovo ThinkPad P53 Workstation Laptop

The ThinkPad P53 is big and heavy, and it’s one of the most portable workstations you can find. It weighs 6.2 pounds and measures 1.2 by 14.9 by 9.9 inches (HWD), which makes it fairly slim but thick for a modern laptop, though those dimensions are expected for a mobile workstation this big. The Dell Precision 7730 is slightly smaller at 1 by 14 by 10 inches, but much heavier at 7 pounds, and the HP ZBook Studio G5 is close to the ThinkPad P53 in size (1 by 15 by 9.4 inches) and weight (6 pounds).

The screen on this ThinkPad has excellent color accuracy (Delta-E rating of 0.18), though its average brightness of 253 nits might not be bright enough for some users who regularly work with HDR content, as well as photographers editing images in Photoshop or Lightroom who need to spot details that could be more easily seen on a brighter screen. For example, the screen is dimmer than that of the Precision 7730 (319 nits) and about even with that of the ZBook Studio G5 (255 nits).

The Dell XPS15. It’s a computer that you’ve probably heard of and wondered if it was worth the hype. And I really think it is. When I made my purchase decision for a new laptop back in January, it took me over three months to finally decide on this one. And I can confidently say that I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

Now, this doesn’t mean this is the best computer for everybody out there. But maybe it could be! So let’s get into some of the details and see if we find a good fit together!

Dell XPS 15 – 15 Inch FHD+, Intel Core i7 10th Gen, 16GB Memory, 512GB Solid State Drive, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6, Windows 10 Home (Latest Model) – Silver

I’ve been waiting for this laptop to come out and finally pulled the trigger and got it. Previously I had the 9570 which was my first XPS 15. The build is incredible, feels a lot more sturdy then my previous model (9570). The screen is beautiful and bezels are even slimmer than before. It’s thinner as well, but heavier. Mine also has no annoying coil whine like some people have reported. I am able to play any game on max settings with ease so far and get an average of 60fps on most games at 4k resolution. Does run hot sometimes but usually never above 85C (keeping in mind this thermals are taken from multiple monitoring software) .

Overall great laptop if you can afford it!

Latest 10th generation Intel Core i7-10750H 10th Generation 6-Core 12-Thread Processor ( 2.6GHz Base Clock up to 5.0GHz Max Boost Clock, 12MB Cache) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6 Graphics

The 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1200) InfinityEdge Anti-Reflective Non-Touch 100% sRGB 500-Nits Display on the Dell XPS 15 is one of the best displays to appear on a laptop. The 1920 x 1200 resolution is more than enough, even for complex tasks that require excellent detail. The non-reflective panel ensures that you can use the laptop without any hindrance in bright sunlight. The overall picture quality is also great and has a more natural color tone compared to other laptops in its price range.

512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive

M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drives provide the best performance available for Dell laptops, meaning your computer will load faster, resume from sleep mode more quickly, and boot up almost immediately. This drive is:

  • Compatible with all Dell XPS 15 9560 models
  • Faster than any hard drive or SATA solid state drive
  • Faster than a SATA SSD but slower than a PCIe SSD (like the Samsung 950 Pro)

The Thunderbolt 3 port allows you to connect quickly and easily to various devices.

However, using the USB Type-C ports means you need adapters for VGA, HDMI, and USB-A connections.

This laptop does not come with a Dell Adapter (sold separately), so unfortunately you’ll have to order one from the website.

Even when everything is plugged in properly, it can be difficult to use this system due to its complicated setup.

pro and cons of Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop, 15.6 Inches

Pros

  • Good battery life
  • Good performance
  • Good value for money
  • Good port selection
  • Good display

The Acer Aspire 5 is a great laptop for most tasks.

The Acer Aspire 15.6-inch laptop is best suited to students and entrepreneurs who need a laptop for school or work. Although it has plenty of power for everyday tasks, such as surfing the web, checking social media accounts, streaming music and videos, and writing emails, it isn’t built to handle more intense tasks like graphic design or photo editing. The laptop offers users plenty of memory but only one USB port. This could be problematic for users who like to connect their laptops to multiple devices at once. The battery also needs frequent charging—less than two hours of continuous use will drain the battery completely. If you want a laptop that has enough power for most daily tasks without breaking the bank, this is a good choice.

If you’re looking for a laptop that’s powerful and portable, has a long battery life, and is easy on the wallet, then look no further than the 2020 HP 15 15.6″ HD Touchscreen Premium Laptop. This machine provides you with plenty of features for its low price point, including a good display, excellent performance and a nice design. With all that in mind, it’s not surprising this machine often sells out despite being one of the most inexpensive laptops on our list.

Processor

Processor:

  • 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1, 1.0 GHz base frequency, up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 6 MB cache, 4 cores

Memory

Your laptop is only as good as its memory. If you’re looking for a travel-friendly laptop that won’t buckle under the pressure of running multiple Google Chrome tabs, the 2020 HP 15 has you covered. With 16 GB of DDR4-3200 SDRAM, this model can store an impressive amount of data. If you feel like you have more data than you need today, rest assured that this system is upgradeable to 32 GB in case your data needs increase over time.

This memory means it’s perfect for running games and other applications at the same time, allowing you to multitask without any issues. This laptop will keep up with whatever crazy projects or entertainment endeavors your heart desires—you’ll be able to run a podcast while gaming while browsing Twitter while watching YouTube and so on, all at once!

Hard drive

The computer’s hard drive is enormous, offering you a ton of space to store all your files. The HP laptop comes with an M.2 SSD (PCIe NVMe) and has USB Type-C and USB 3.1 ports, as well as an HDMI outlet to boot. You’ll even have access to a headphone/microphone combo jack, so if you find yourself tired of the sound of your own voice all the time (you probably will), this addition can help in that regard as well. In case you want to get your hands on some new music or photos for your phone, you can also use the multi-format SD media card reader.

Keyboard and touchpad

The laptop’s full-size, chiclet-style keyboard provides a comfortable typing experience. The keys are quiet and have just enough travel.

The responsive touchpad accurately registers your gestures, thanks to its smooth surface.

Display

  • Display: 15.6 in HD WLED-backlit touchscreen (1366 x 768), 10-finger multi-touch support
  • Processor: Intel Pentium Gold 6405U Dual-Core processor, 2.40 GHz
  • Memory: 8GB DDR4 SDRAM 2666 MHz
  • Hard drive size: 128GB SSD
  • Operating system: Windows 10 Home in S mode, 64-bit
  • PC type: Laptop
  • Optical drive: None
  • Media drive: 1 multi-format SD media card reader

Webcam and speakers

The speakers and microphone also do a good job in the laptop. The speakers are adequate, but don’t expect them to be able to play music or anything like that. Music will sound tinny and low-quality, so it is better if you use external speakers or headphones when listening to music. However, they work well enough for conference calls, which is probably what most people will find themselves doing on this computer.

The webcam is located at the top of your screen, and it captures quality video in 720p if you want to make video calls with it. It has a pretty good microphone built-in as well so that callers can hear you clearly as long as there isn’t too much noise around you.

Ports

Ports:

  • 1 USB 2.0; 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1; 1 HDMI 1.4b; 1 RJ-45; 1 AC smart pin; 1 headphone/microphone combo
  • Windows 10 Home in S Mode 64

Battery and power consumption

  • 15.6-inch screen
  • Full HD display
  • Bright, vivid colors
  • Fast response times

The 15.6-inch screen has a full HD display with bright, vivid colors and fast response times—great for watching videos, playing games or working on your latest project.

Durability, security and performance

Windows 10 is a better operating system than Windows 8. The interface is more intuitive, and the apps store is more accessible. If you have an older computer with Windows 8 it’s time to update it. It’s easy to upgrade your laptop or desktop by formatting your hard drive and installing the operating system on a new drive, but not all manufacturers do this automatically. You may have to go online and find instructions for upgrading your laptop or desktop yourself, or download them from a website such as Microsoft’s website here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 For this test we benchmarked the HP 15 Touchscreen Premium Laptop using 3DMark Time Spy Performance Test at 4K resolution (Ultra Settings): CPU test: Performance score 2528

Another benchmark was Geekbench 4 which measures overall performance in terms of single core and multi-core performance: Single Core Test Score 2321

Multi-Core Test Score 4519 In terms of battery life, HP provided consumers with a “best practices” guide that recommends charging the laptop between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes per day for optimal battery life (which we tested using Battery Eater Pro).

pro and cons of 2020 HP 15 15.6″ HD Touchscreen Premium Laptop

There are a lot of things to consider when choosing a new laptop. Does it have enough storage? Is the screen size big enough? Is it good for gaming? Has it got any good reviews from other people who bought it? What about its pros and cons? Well, here are the ones we found for this product:

Pros:

  • Long battery life
  • Lightweight (4.3 lbs)
  • 15.6″ touchscreen with 1366 x 768 HD resolution (good if you want to play games or watch movies)

Cons:

  • not a lot of storage (128GB SSD)
  • only 2 USB ports

This is a well-rounded laptop that is suitable for most users needs, including video streaming, light photo editing and long battery life.

drwabacks of 2020 HP 15 15.6″ HD Touchscreen Premium Laptop

Now that you know the good, let’s talk about some of the not-so-good aspects. First up, the display is pretty average at best. It is a 15.6-inch Full HD LED display with touch support which means you can use it to browse the web or watch online videos. With that said, we don’t think it will be able to satisfy everyone since it’s not as bright and vibrant as most displays out there.

As for its physical dimensions, this laptop is rather heavy at 4.92 pounds and thick at 0.9 inches thick so you will find it difficult to carry around all day long. However, considering its price tag, these aren’t unexpected features so I wouldn’t really hold them against this laptop too much.

pro and cons of Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″

Things to consider when buying the Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″:

  • Your budget for a gaming laptop. If you want a high-end gaming laptop, this is not it. But if you want something that can run games on medium settings and handle every day needs, it’s a great deal at $799.99
  • Your plans for use. If you are looking to play all of the latest games at high settings and have the ability to upgrade later on, this isn’t it either. But if you are like me and just want something that can get the job done now and be fine with lower graphics later on, this is a great deal.”

This laptop is great for gaming.

“The Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop combines some of our favorite gaming features into one system—and at just $1,000, it’s a great deal. Intel Turbo Boost Technology & Intel Smart Cache

The last-gen 10th Gen process is known to have a few issues, but this laptop version thankfully doesn’t appear to be one of them. With a 10750H processor and 12MB cache, its performance was very close to the previous generation of the i7-8750H. However, it does have a caveat: heat. When kept at normal workloads (i.e., not gaming), I didn’t see any problems in fan speed or noise levels — those were both equivalent to that of my other laptops. However, when playing games such as PUBG Mobile on high settings, the fans showed their peak power capabilities and made much more noise than my other machines would under similar situations.

ROG Intelligent Cooling thermal system with dual 12V fans, Anti Dust Cooling (ADC) and quad heat pipes

The ROG Intelligent Cooling thermal system features a quartet of heat pipes with triple 12V fans that utilize the latest n-Blade technology to increase airflow and provide better fan performance, offering increased stability and cooling efficiency during demanding gaming marathons. The new anti-dust tunnels on the fans expel harmful dust particles from the chassis as well as prevent accumulation of dirt on the thermal fins, making regular maintenance a thing of the past.

Additionally, liquid metal compound from Thermal Grizzly is applied to all CPU heatspreader for more efficient heat transfer compared to traditional thermal paste. This allows for better overclocking under sustained loads and reduced temperatures by up to 10°C compared with standard thermal compounds in intensive applications such as gaming, content creation, and 3D rendering.

ROG Aura Sync System with RGB Keyboard and Light Bar

The Strix G15 is a laptop that’s ready to play. The AURA Sync RGB keyboard and light bar are backlit, so you can personalize your keyboard and get an immersive experience in the dark. You can turn on or off the keyboard backlight by pressing the Fn + F4 buttons simultaneously. You can also change the color of the backlit keyboard by pressing Fn + F3 or by using the Aura app.

ASUS\’s brand-new Light Bar offers more vibrant lighting effects for a better gaming experience. It’s easy to customize your own lights, with options for reactive effects that respond to in-game action as well as static colors that let you express your personality. You can even sync up multiple ROG devices on Aura Sync software, creating a unified gaming vibe across all compatible devices!

pro and cons of ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop,

The Asus ROG Strix G15 is a powerful gaming laptop, providing high-end components in a chassis that doesn’t look like it belongs to an alien species.

You get the latest i7-10750H processor, Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics and a 15.6-inch display with an impressive 240Hz refresh rate. The 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM are pretty good too, although you can upgrade those if needed when buying from Asus direct.

The keyboard is comfortable to use for long periods and has full RGB lighting support (including per-key effects), and there’s also plenty of connectivity options including WiFi 6 support – something we’ve started seeing across many new laptops but still isn’t available on all devices out there right now.

This laptop is designed for gaming.

To be specific, the G15 is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop with a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and an Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU, the latter of which allows you to play pretty much any current game at 1080p. It’s not meant to be the absolute most powerful gaming laptop out there—you’ll have to pay around $3,000 for those—but it’s still plenty capable of playing today’s games at high frame rates. The G15 has 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 144Hz 1080p display as well as Asus’ new “honeycomb” keyboard design that also makes room for better cooling than previous systems.

The G15 starts at $1,099 with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU and Nvidia GTX 1650Ti graphics card. For another $200 you can get an Intel Core i7-10750H CPU instead if you prefer those processors over AMD ones.

drwabacks of ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop,

There are very few drawbacks to the ASUS, which is a testament to how well-designed it is. However, its clock speeds are slightly lower than some of its competitors. For example, in the same price range you can find a laptop with a higher CPU boost frequency (3.9Ghz vs 3.8Ghz). This means if you want to play the most demanding games at their maximum settings, this may not be quite powerful enough for you. Again, though, it’s debatable how much difference this will make in your gaming experience.

NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM

If you’re interested in playing games on your laptop, then the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM is a solid choice. This should be more than enough for light to moderate gaming, especially considering that the MX150 is considered by many to be better than the 940MX.

8GB Dual Channel Memory & 256GB SSD

  • 8GB Dual Channel Memory & 256GB SSD:

Dual channel memory is a DDR, DDR2, or DDR3 chipset on the motherboard providing RAM with two dedicated high-throughput data channels. The main advantage of dual channel mode is its ability to double theoretical bandwidth for real-world performance gains that are noticeable to users.

A solid state drive (SSD) differs from a hard disk drive (HDD) in that it contains no mechanical parts and stores data in flash memory. This means an SSD boots up faster and performs everyday tasks more quickly than an HDD. There’s also no noise from mechanical parts because all the components are electronic, resulting in less heat production and lower power consumption than HDDs. To compare SSDs to SDDs (Solid State Drives), you’ll need a magnifying glass—they’re basically identical! In summary, if you’re looking for fast start-up speeds, read/write speeds, reliability, low latency and low power consumption when gaming or crunching large files such as videos and photos, then this Acer desktop computer has what you need!

pro and cons of Acer Aspire E 15 Laptop, 15.6″ Full HD,

After seeing the Acer Aspire E 15 available in stores and looking at its specs and features, we were excited to give it a try. However, as we disassembled it, we noticed that there was no USB-C port for future-proofing with new devices, so we had to choose if spending a little more money for the Acer Laptop would be worth it.

This laptop is great for those who want to get into PC gaming without breaking the bank, since it comes with a solid 1080p display and an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. With 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage, this laptop can run most modern games easily. As for battery life on this laptop, I tested my Acer E 15 out of the house on an hour’s charge and found that it lasted longer than what I’d expect from other laptops. The only real downside to this laptop is that there isn’t any thunderbolt 3 support or any USB C ports (only 2 USB type A ports). Even though they’re not necessary in our day-to-day lives, they are important moving forward when trying to be more modern or helpful with accessories like hard drives and external monitors.

Acer Aspire E 15 is your best bet for a competitively priced laptop.

  • You want a laptop that is good for gaming.
  • You want a laptop that has good graphics.
  • You want a laptop that is good for multitasking.
  • You want a laptop that is good for business.
  • You want a laptop that is good for general use.
  • You want a laptop that is good for school.
  • You are looking to buy your child their very first laptop and you know they will be using it in college and/or university and beyond, so you want something that will last them for years to come.
  • If you work from home or own your own business then this Acer Aspire E15 Laptop PC could very well be the perfect buy because not only can you get work done but also have fun with some games on the side too! The best of both worlds really!“`

The Acer Aspire E 15 is a good laptop for the price, but its battery life is a little short. The Aspire E 15’s 15.6-inch, 1920 x 1080 display is solid for the price. It offers accurate colors, sharp images and good brightness, making it suitable for casual gaming and streaming video. The Aspire E 15 also stays relatively cool even when you’re running powerful programs or playing graphics-heavy games, so you can use it on a lap without any problems.

pro and cons of MSI GF65 Thin 9SD-004 15.6″ 120Hz Gaming Laptop

MSI GF65 Thin 9SD-004 15.6″ 120Hz Gaming Laptop Pros:

+Good performance

+Affordable

MSI GF65 Thin 9SD-004 15.6″ 120Hz Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7-9750H GTX1660Ti 16GB 512GB NVMe SSD Win10Home

The MSI GF65 Thin 9SD-004 15.6″ 120Hz Gaming Laptop is a top pick because of its features, and the display of this laptop is too large and heavy for it to be ergonomic.

The trackpad is too small and does not have smooth scrolling which will irritate you after some time. The good thing about this laptop is that it has a backlit keyboard which enhances your gaming experience. The battery life is poor with just around 5 hours of runtime on moderate use. You can expect slow charging speeds from this laptop as well, so you will have to charge it overnight if you want to play games all day long or perform any other tasks for that matter. This laptop makes some loud fan noises when playing, so the audio quality won’t be great either. Additionally, this laptop comes with Windows 10 Home preinstalled along with many bloatwares that take up most of the RAM and CPU power making it difficult for your games to run smoothly without any lags or crashes in between!

NumberPad 2.0 uses LED-illuminated numeric keypad technology for instant data entry without taking up extra space on your ZenBook 14’s compact keyboard! Just tap on the top-right icon to illuminate the keys — it’s that simple!

The NumberPad is great for entering long sequences of numbers, whether you’re working on a spreadsheet or balancing your checkbook. It can also be an effective way to add or edit text when you don’t have an external keyboard handy, making it ideal for road warriors and frequent flyers.

drwabacks of ASUS ZenBook 14 Ultra-Slim Laptop 14”

After a week of on-and-off testing, it became clear that the Zenbook 14’s battery life was not going to meet ASUS’ estimates. The battery was good for between seven and eight hours of browsing and working in Google Docs, when I’d expected closer to 10.

The keyboard also occasionally failed to recognize input. After some googling, I found that this problem is somewhat common among users of ASUS laptops with the same type of keyboard mechanism. It’s nothing so severe that it will totally kill your experience, but it is an annoyance you should know about if you’re considering buying this laptop.

The lid is just a bit flimsy; I wouldn’t let it be the only thing holding my laptop closed if I were taking it on a plane or anything like that.
