Cloud computing is one of the major trends that can be seen in today’s world. It has become a buzzword and everyone seems to be using it. So what is cloud computing?

In simple words, Cloud Computing refers to storing your data on remote servers on the internet rather than in your local hard drive or an in-house server. The advantages of cloud storage are numerous but mainly include accessibility, easy sharing and cost-effectiveness.

Many organizations and individuals use cloud computing for their daily tasks. However, to make sure that everything goes smoothly and without glitches, you will need a high-quality machine with certain features such as high RAM, fast processor, long battery life etc.

Anxiously awaiting the next generation of graphics cards, gamers have been put in a holding pattern by Nvidia. The Turing architecture has been delayed until at least early next year so that the company can ensure it’s as efficient and powerful as possible. Before you go ahead and buy Nvidia’s last-generation GeForce RTX 2060, however, we recommend taking a look at HP’s new OMEN 15 Gaming Laptop. With an Intel Core i7 processor, 16 gigs of RAM, and 512 gigabytes of storage space for your favorite games (not to mention a larger hard drive for your movies and music), this is one of the best values for serious gamers on the market. It even comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card to keep you competitive on Battlefield V or Fortnite. But if your top gaming priority is running smoothly even during intense periods of gameplay, this machine delivers: our HP – OMEN 15-EK0013DX played both games without losing any frame rates while also providing brilliant 1080p visuals.

Price aside, there are some other things worth knowing about this laptop before pulling out your wallet—it doesn’t come with built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, so you’ll need an external adapter if you want either one (which can be purchased separately). Other than that though, we found no major faults with this powerful PC that could potentially cause buyers to look elsewhere; it did everything we needed it to do without any problems in both performance and delivery. If you’re looking for a great deal on something you can use every single day from work to playtime, there are few better options available at this price point.

Full HD display

For a long time, the standard for affordable 1080p laptops was 1366×768, which is basically phone resolution in a laptop form factor. It’s not bad per se—many people are content with that resolution on their smartphone or tablet—but when you’re dealing with 15-inches or more of screen real estate, it’s just not doing it for you. The HP OMEN 15-EK0013DX boasts a full 1920×1080 display, which is a huge leap up from the old norm.

The difference between 720p and 1080p in pixels per inch (PPI) is small (147 PPI vs 163 PPI), but there’s no denying that the extra pixel density gives your display an extra kick—especially with smaller text like menu bars. The HP OMEN has a brightness of 300 nits and an aspect ratio of 16:9, hopefully giving you better contrast ratios than competing brands.

HP claims that the panel type used in this model is IPS (In-Plane Switching), but some reviewers have disputed whether this claim is accurate. Regardless, one thing everyone can agree on is that touchscreens in laptops are still unnecessary gimmicks for now, so this HP doesn’t have one (and neither do any comparable models).

Enjoy your favorite movies, music and images with this HP notebook. The Intel Core i7 processor ensures fluid web browsing and multitasking, while the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card delivers impressive performance in games. This HP notebook has a 512GB SSD for fast boot times and ample storage space.

The HP OMEN is a 15.6-inch gaming notebook that offers an immersive and enjoyable display, thanks to the Full HD screen with images that pop, and a color palette that’s accurate and vibrant. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics give users the power they need to handle intensive tasks such as multitasking or playing games. This powerful machine provides up to 9 hours of battery life on a single charge.

A computer’s fan is the part of its CPU cooling system that cools off its core components and keeps them from overheating. Your fan spins faster in order to generate more airflow when your computer is under heavy use, but they can also spin faster if there’s dust or other particles obstructing their movement. Most fans are designed to last for years, but if yours starts making abnormal noises or acting erratically it could indicate damage or wear and tear that needs attention before anything catastrophic happens to your machine’s internals

8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD

The VivoBook 15 provides you with a lot of storage space, thanks to its 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. That means you can easily save pictures, videos and software programs on your laptop without worrying about running out of space too quickly. The chips in an SSD (solid-state drive) make it faster than an HDD (hard disk drive), meaning the VivoBook 15 is quicker to start up and open programs compared with other laptops that use HDDs. However, because SSDs are more expensive than HDDs, less storage space is available for your money. In other words, if price is important to you, a laptop with an HDD might be a better option—but if you want the fastest performance possible and don’t mind paying more for it, an SSD is worth considering.

pro and cons of ASUS VivoBook 15 Thin and Light Laptop,

PROS

The new Asus VivoBook 15 is a Windows 10 laptop powered by an Intel processor, featuring NanoEdge display and a precision-engineered ergonomic backlit keyboard that lets you type comfortably in any environment.

CONS

There are some cons to the Asus VivoBook 15. The battery life will not last for more than 4 hours on average use and you may need to buy an external charger in order to keep charging it from time to time. The speakers are not very loud, so if you want better sound quality then I recommend getting external speakers or headphones instead of using the laptop’s built-in ones.

If you’re looking for a super-thin laptop that can still handle your everyday computing needs, the Acer Swift 7 SF714-51T-M9H0 might be perfect for you. This laptop is incredibly thin and light, at only 8.98 millimeters thick and weighing less than 1 kilogram. It’s got enough power to perform basic tasks, without bottlenecking your video editing workflow. The display is bright and clear, with crisp text and vibrant colors.

The Acer Swift 7 SF714-51T-M9H0 has a 14″ full HD IPS touchscreen display, which is great for watching videos on Netflix or Hulu or reading ebooks on the Kindle app without squinting too much at the screen to see what’s going on. And it has a physical keyboard, so you don’t have to use the touchscreen if you’re more comfortable typing with physical keys instead of working directly on your screen (although this laptop does support touch gestures if you want to navigate through menus that way).

This ultra-thin laptop also features Intel Core i5 processing power (7th Generation), up to 16GB RAM (upgradeable), up to 512GB SSD storage space for all of your documents, photos and videos (though honestly this capacity should be more than enough for most people), plus a fingerprint sensor for added convenience when logging in. It also includes two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, HDMI output, an SD card slot, audio jack connector (3.5mm), 80211ac 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1 technology so you can connect wirelessly wherever there’s internet service available nearby if that’s your thing.* It also has Windows 10 Home preinstalled.*

  • May not function well around water

The Swift 7 is the new milestone in thinness with a profile that’s nearly half a centimeter thinner than its predecessor.

The Acer Swift 7 is the new milestone in thinness with a profile that’s nearly half a centimeter thinner than its predecessor. At just 8.98mm, this laptop is thinner than most phones, pencils, and even some tablets. The previous model was already a remarkably thin laptop at 9.98mm, but Acer has taken it a step further by shaving off yet another centimeter of thickness without compromising performance or battery life.

The Swift 7 includes dual-band 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless connectivity to provide fast speeds and reliable connections.

The Acer Swift 7 SF714-51T-M9H0 Ultra-Thin 8.98mm Laptop was released in 2017 with a 14″ screen and a weight of 2.42 pounds. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7-7Y75 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with 8 GB of RAM, and has 512 GB solid state storage. The system uses dual band 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless connectivity to provide fast speeds and reliable connections.

With an 8th Gen Intel Core processor, the Swift 7 is more powerful than ever – even when you’re on the go.

With an 8th Gen Intel Core processor, the Acer Swift 7 is more powerful than ever and stays that way—even when you’re on the go. Thanks to its dual-core i5-8250U or quad-core i7-8550U processors, the Swift 7 gives you top processing speeds at a range of 1.6GHz to 4GHz. That means you can watch videos on Netflix or keep up with friends while gaming without signs of slowing down. And with enough power for heavy multitasking, like watching a movie while keeping your social media feeds in check, you can do more than just get things done; you can get them done fast.

Acer’s innovative IceCool Technology keeps things cool even under pressure—offering up to 19% better CPU performance and 25% lower system temperatures due to ethylene glycol cooling agents that draw heat away from the surface of the laptop. Successfully tested up to 10 hours in daily use, the Swift 7 has everything it takes for a full day of productivity—all controlled within Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system (available via free download).

Staying productive has never been easier thanks to the long battery life of the Swift 7.

Acer’s Swift 7 is an ultra-portable laptop that combines a sleek, modern design with top-notch hardware that rivals other industry leaders. Even more impressive, this 14-inch powerhouse can last up to 10 hours on a single charge.

What makes the battery life so long? First of all, the 4-cell Lithium-ion battery provides power for the entire system. It’s also designed with advanced circuitry that automatically adjusts power levels based on what you’re doing and how much power it requires. For example, watching videos or browsing websites are less taxing on your battery than if you were playing games or editing photos and videos. Additionally, there are several battery modes and settings available in Windows 10 that give you even more control over how your device uses its power and what apps have access to it.

The Swift 7 has an Energy Star rating of 6, which means the laptop is extremely energy efficient while still providing excellent performance thanks to its high quality internals such as an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and a Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card with 4GB of GDDR5 memory to handle intense gaming or multimedia creation tasks. This combination allows for better performance at lower wattages compared to previous models from Acer as well as many competitors who offer similar specs but can’t match Acer’s long lasting battery life under heavy load conditions

With a lightning fast Intel Core i7 processor, 14″ FHD IPS touch display, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, and 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD display the Swift 7 is capable of handling your daily needs with ease.

This ultra-thin laptop from Acer is sure to impress with its 8.98mm body, 14″ FHD IPS touch display, 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD display and a lightning fast Intel Core i7 processor.

Acer offers some of the best support in the industry – backed by over 3,700 service people across the Americas and a dedicated call center located within 30 miles of all major metropolitan areas.

When I was planning my move, one of the most important things I wanted to make sure of was that Acer would provide me with great customer service. And they did not disappoint! From the day I purchased my Acer Swift 7 (SF714-51T-M9H0), I had no problems getting support from the company, and they went out of their way to assist me in every way possible. They even provided me with a free shipping label so that I could mail my computer back to them for repair.

This is just another example of how well Acer backs up their products with amazing customer care and excellent service.

pro and cons of Acer Swift 7 SF714-51T-M9H0 Ultra-Thin 8.98mm Laptop, 14″

The Acer Swift 7 SF714-51T-M9H0 is a great ultraportable laptop for day-to-day use. It’s thin and light, with surprisingly long battery life. However, the keyboard lacks a backlight, there’s no microSD card slot, and it doesn’t have much in the way of ports (only two USB Type C).

Check out this laptop!

Few laptops are as travel-friendly as the Acer Swift 7. At a mere 8.98mm thick and 2 pounds, it’s easy to carry around and will fit easily in your bag—pocket, if you’re wearing skinny jeans with no butt. It also has one of the best battery lives of any laptop on the market, lasting an average of 13 hours in testing—enough for even the most intense binge-watching session.

The touch screen is responsive and works well for streaming videos or playing games. It features fast performance from its 8th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, making it an excellent choice for productivity tasks like photo editing or video production. While we wouldn’t recommend this machine for gaming (it lacks graphics power), you could use it to play simpler indie titles without problem. The only significant downside is that it gets somewhat warm while playing games or running processor-intensive applications; but if you’re just browsing or streaming Netflix there should be no problems at all.

For its size and weight, this machine packs a punch—and won’t cost you an arm and a leg either!

  • The Acer Swift 7’s thin bezels are a thing of beauty and make the laptop look sleek. The bezels also make it much easier for two people to use this laptop at different angles, which we find necessary as our office is a workspace where we constantly switch between sitting and standing.
  • It’s not the world’s lightest or thinnest laptop (11.9mm), but it is one of the most attractive designs on the market.

We were initially skeptical about how great Acer would be able to adhere to their promise of making the world’s thinnest 14-inch laptop, but we now have no questions after using this model for a few weeks: Acer certainly lived up to their word by producing an ultrathin and beautiful machine that looks amazing both in person and in photos and videos—especially if you set it down on a table or desk with its display facing upwards, as all reviews recommend.

It’s a shame that the Huawei Matebook 13 Signature Edn. Laptop – 13″ doesn’t offer a better combination of price and performance in its class, but there are definite upsides to its operating system. In short, it’s Windows 10 Home (64-bit), with a reasonable processor and good hardware. The cost may be higher than you’d like, but it does come with a free year of Microsoft Office 365 Personal, which is a big bonus for those who work on their laptops or want to access their files from anywhere at anytime.

If you’re looking for maximum portability without sacrificing performance, then this is definitely worth considering as an addition to your laptop collection.

2K TOUCH DISPLAY – 2160 x 1440 resolution. 200ppi, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness

When it comes to computer monitors, the Huawei Matebook 13 Signature Edn. Laptop is a perfect example of how the competition has been heating up recently, and how a company’s product can be both wonderful and terrible at the same time.

What we like about this screen:

  • The display is bright and sharp with excellent color reproduction

pro and cons of Huawei Matebook 13 Signature Edn. Laptop

Update: A year and a half after our purchase, we’re still using this laptop every day. The most expensive laptop I’ve ever purchased, but given its capabilities, I don’t regret it at all. If you’re thinking about getting it, consider my update below….

FINGERPRINT READER – Login instantly with a touch of your finger

The Huawei Matebook 13 Signature Edition Touch is the bomb. It has a touch-to-login with a fingerprint reader, which works a lot better than the facial recognition feature on other Huawei laptops. You can set it up so that you just tap your finger on the sensor and it logs you in. It even works if you’re wearing gloves or have wet hands. It also has Windows Hello for logging in with your face or iris scan, but I find that using my finger is faster and more reliable. The webcam is really good, too! There’s no annoying flicker when you move the camera around like some other webcams.

Huawei does an excellent job of making their laptop batteries last as long as possible without sacrificing performance. This one is no exception! With Lightweight Linux installed, this laptop was able to get over 10 hours of battery life while playing videos at full brightness with WiFi on! After a month of use, I haven’t experienced any dips in performance while playing graphics-intense games like Overwatch or watching 4K video streams either.

drwabacks of Huawei Matebook 13 Signature Edn. Laptop

The Matebook 13’s limited storage and missing SD card slot are potential deal-breakers for some. The former is factored into the price, but it’s still disappointing to see that you can’t expand the amount of space available to you. If you love to take photos or shoot videos on your laptop, then a 64GB drive just won’t cut it regardless of the cloud storage. And while Huawei thoughtfully included an adapter in the box, which allows you to read SD cards via a USB port, it’s not nearly as convenient as having an actual card reader built-in.

15.6″ Full HD IPS Display (1920 x 1080) 144Hz Refresh Rate Battery Life Up to 8 hours

Acer’s Nitro 5 is an affordable 15.6\” gaming notebook that can handle all of your games with ease. One of the most impressive features of this laptop is its display and the aptly named Acer Nitro 5 comes with a beautiful screen.

The display boasts a Full HD IPS panel with vivid colors and good viewing angles and it supports both AMD FreeSync technology and Nvidia G-Sync for smooth gameplay at any resolution. Having said that, there is one thing that some may not find preferable about this display which is the fact that it does not offer wide viewing angles (178 degrees).

While you may experience some loss of color when viewing from an angle, you will not be able to notice much difference if at all as most other brands have similar specifications even in comparison to this model. For those who are still unsatisfied, there are many ways to improve your experience while working on their computer or simply watching videos in their room. Though we did not find a solution for wider viewing angles either, there are third party apps that boost the brightness levels on displays so make sure you check out those options by reading our article here : https://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/acer-nitro-5/

256GB NVMe SSD Keyboard Backlit Keyboard

# Reasons We Love the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop:

  • 256GB NVMe SSD. The best part about this Acer laptop is the 256GB NVMe SSD, which makes booting up Windows feel like a cutscene in an action game. Within seconds you’re at your desktop and ready to do battle against viruses or level up in [Game Title], whichever comes first!

# Other Things We Love About This Laptop:

  • Keyboard Backlit Keyboard. If you like working late at night and can’t sleep when there’s no lights on, this keyboard has your back (pun intended). It’s fully illuminated so you can type without straining to see and without the need for nightlights. It also looks pretty cool when you turn it off, as there are many backlit options and special effects that can be customized to your liking.

Here are the ports for the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 gaming laptop.

Ports: 1 x USB-Type C, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 , 1 x HDMI 2.0b, and 1 x Audio Jack

Operating System Windows 10 Home 64 Bit 802.11ax Wifi Bluetooth 5.1

The Acer Nitro 5 is a 15.6” gaming laptop that has some great specs for the price tag. Plus, it comes with some features one wouldn’t expect to find on a budget model: a webcam, a numpad, and Bluetooth.

What I love about this laptop is that it has been designed for portability but still keeps productivity in mind. The screen size is small enough to carry around, but the full-size keyboard and number pad allow me to create documents without feeling cramped or making too many typos (which everyone makes when trying to do anything with their phone). The keyboard is also backlit so I can work comfortably late at night when others are sleeping; its thin profile means it doesn’t get in the way of my hands while typing.

With an i5 processor and 8 GB RAM I can play most games on medium settings with no problem. There’s also plenty of storage space for all my games and media files, which is nice because gaming laptops rarely have room for much else—I’ve moved across Canada three times now and haven’t had any trouble packing everything into one suitcase thanks to this fantastic laptop!

Another feature I want to mention is how fast the wifi connection is; we live in rural Quebec and often lose our internet connection during storms—a minor inconvenience until you’re trying to stream Overwatch League as Mercy during a big match!—but this laptop has always been able to connect quickly despite our spotty service provider. My boyfriend says he wishes there was better cooling so he could overclock the processor but that’s not really my thing.—your average gamer

pro and cons of Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop | Intel Core i5

The Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop is a good laptop, but there are some issues to consider before purchasing it. The computer’s biggest problem is its price: while the specs are not top of the line, they’re powerful enough for most people and many reviewers have noted that the device’s performance surpasses those benchmarks. Unfortunately, the Nitro 5 is around $400 more expensive than its competitors in this price range. It also lacks microSD card slots and an Ethernet port, which will be a deal breaker for some buyers who rely heavily on these ports.

Any gamer looking for a mid-range laptop should check out the Acer Nitro 5 if they’re able to get past the high cost of entry.

This is a great gaming laptop at an affordable price.

I was shopping for a laptop because I’m going to college in the fall and I needed something that could keep up with my classes and provide a portable gaming experience. My old laptop can’t handle most games on their highest settings, which means if I want to play League it has to be on 480p — not great for reading spell effects! Enter the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop, which will run even the newest games on high settings.

I wanted a computer that would last, so when I saw this laptop’s specs, including an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM, it seemed like a perfect fit. And I was right! It runs everything smoothly and quickly, no matter how many tabs are open in Chrome or how much software I’m running. It’s also got an extended battery life (up to 6 hours), which is perfect for me since I always seem to do all my homework right before bedtime.

Even though this isn’t meant as a work computer — it’s powerful enough that it’d compete with higher-end business laptops — it’ll help me knock out assignments while still being able to game during breaks or at night. Plus there are plenty of ports (including two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0) if you need them for other peripherals like flash drives or external hard drives (in case your school is still using those clunkers).

The screen has wide viewing angles, too; it looks good even if you’re looking at it from an angle instead of straight on. You also get 1080p resolution and a backlit keyboard for working anywhere in low light conditions (like when your roommate decides to have that party every Saturday night at 2am).

When my friends ask why they should buy this over another laptop, my answer is simple: because of the value you get from buying this thing! When you consider what else comes with this model versus its price point, you

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 gaming laptop is a slick black machine that’s very reasonably priced for what it offers, but it does suffer from some technical issues. The exterior of the computer is made of hard plastic with a smooth aluminum finish, and its 15.6-inch screen is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor that vrooms along at 2.50GHz. It includes 8GB of memory and 256GB of solid state storage.

Adobe Reader, 10 Free Dropbox space for 12 months, McAfee LiveSafe 30day Trial

You’ve probably heard of Adobe Reader, the PDF-reading program. It comes pre-loaded onto most computers and is relatively useful for its main purpose: reading pdfs. But it also comes with a ton of other features that you might not know about. Here are some tricks I like to use in Adobe Reader:

With so many helpful tools, why is this program not just a staple on every computer? That’s because it tries to upsell you with monthly subscriptions for cloud storage and other services that most people don’t need when all they want is an effective way to read documents on their laptop or desktop computer. Thankfully, there are ways to have the best of both worlds!

pro and cons of 2019 Newest Dell Inspiron 15 5000 15.6″

2019 Newest Dell Inspiron 15 5000 15.6″ is a laptop that has been around for quite some time now, with its first iteration popping up in the spring of 2019. It had no serious competition in the market back then and its relatively good performance allowed it to stay relevant until now. But that’s not to say there aren’t any competitors on the market anymore. So how does this machine fare today?

Can it still be considered an attractive choice for buyers?

We’ll find out in this review!

Dell 2019 Newest Flagship Inspiron Laptop for Business and Student

The Dell Inspiron 15 5000 15.6″ Full HD FHD Touchscreen (1920×1080) Business Laptop is a sterling laptop—and by and large, it’s the best value one can find right now. It’s got a powerful Intel i7 quad-core processor and 16 gigs of RAM, so you can load it up with just about anything. Meanwhile, its 512GB solid state drive provides plenty of storage for those complex programs and documents that need to be at your fingertips at all times, making it ideal for any business user or student who needs to take notes while working on a project or finishing an assignment. Its large 15.6″ screen boasts a good 1080p resolution, which looks great in terms of detail and clarity but also keeps the laptop from being unnecessarily bulky for travel purposes.

Its design is pretty attractive, too: the outside is finished in premium aluminum, with zero plastic involved anywhere on this device (although you’ll see some cheap plastic inserts on the inside). It’s also remarkably light despite its size (5.3 pounds), helping it lend itself well to either tablet mode or tent mode when you need to get some work done outside of your usual office space. On top of that, its backlit keyboard ensures that you’re always able to type out notes late at night without straining your eyes; this comes in handy when taking work home with us frequently has us pulling all-nighters occasionally as we rush to finish tasks before our bosses notice we’ve been putting in extra hours behind their backs…

pro and cons of Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″

Things to consider when buying the Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″:

  • Your budget for a gaming laptop. If you want a high-end gaming laptop, this is not it. But if you want something that can run games on medium settings and handle every day needs, it’s a great deal at $799.99
  • Your plans for use. If you are looking to play all of the latest games at high settings and have the ability to upgrade later on, this isn’t it either. But if you are like me and just want something that can get the job done now and be fine with lower graphics later on, this is a great deal.”

Be proud of your gaming passion, but also aware that laptop gaming is a niche market. If you want to play the latest releases, you’re going to have to shell out some serious cash. Buying a budget laptop isn’t an option if you want the best specs and frame rate on the market right now. However, there are options for people who are willing to compromise on resolution and texture quality in order to have a powerful rig without breaking the bank. One of those options is Lenovo’s new Legion Y7000.

Lenovo’s Y7000 is built with gamers in mind, with its sleek design and handsome red accents giving off an air of sophistication and style that only a select few laptops manage to achieve. While the Lenovo Legion Y7000 does have some shortcomings in its feature set that might make it less than ideal for certain gamers (such as limiting VRAM to just 4 GB), it more than makes up for these deficiencies by providing performance beyond what one would expect from such a thin laptop. With an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA graphics card, this machine can handle most AAA titles at high settings while still being portable enough to bring around comfortably on flights or car trips.

The fact that this laptop comes in under $1,500 is already impressive by itself, but when taking into consideration how good it performs compared to other competitive offerings in its price range, it’s clear that Lenovo has hit a sweet spot between price-performance ratio and portability with this device. It may not be perfect—but its strengths certainly outweigh its weaknesses!

Lenovo Legion Y7000 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″ FHD IPS Anti-Glare Laptop (Intel Core i7-8750H Processor, Nvidia GTX 1060, 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB HDD + 128 GB PCIe SSD, Windows 10 Home) 81LF0001US, Black

The Lenovo Legion Y7000 gaming laptop is a solid choice for anyone looking to get into PC gaming on a budget. This model ships with an Intel Core i7-8750H processor, a GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 1TB of storage space, all for under $1,200. Based on its specs alone, it would be a worthwhile buy. In the real world, though, this machine performs more like a mid-range device than an entry-level one—and you’ll likely want to replace some components if you plan to upgrade your settings or games in the future.

It’s easy to see why Lenovo chose the Legion name for its affordable gaming lineup: Everything about this machine screams “gaming.” Its black chassis has red accents and aggressive lines that set it apart from the more corporate aesthetic of most modern laptops. The 15.6″ display looks sharp at Full HD resolution and comes with support for Nvidia G-Sync technology (which minimizes screen tearing). And while some gamers might balk at the 21 x 13″ footprint of this laptop (or its 5lb weight), those extra inches offer you plenty of room to keep your mouse and keyboard attached when traveling.

All told, if you’re looking for an alternative to traditional desktop gaming PCs or just want something that will play modern titles smoothly at high settings on your desk—but don’t have thousands of dollars lying around—this model is worth checking out.

PROS – Fast performance | Comfortable keyboard | Great graphics and gaming performance | Perfect for Fortnite

The Lenovo Legion Y7000 is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop with solid specs and a refreshingly non-gamer aesthetic: it’s slimmer and sleeker than most, but still has the red accent touches to communicate its gaming credentials. This makes sense if you consider that Lenovo is trying to reach out to a more mainstream audience who wants a decent gaming experience without the flashy gimmicks or garish aesthetics of many other models out there.

It’s definitely not going to hit the highs of our top picks, such as the Razer Blade, but it does have an attractive price tag and will deliver solid performance for many less demanding uses, like web browsing and streaming video. And for Fortnite players looking for something that can handle their favorite game on medium settings (at least), this could be your perfect choice.

CONS – Weak battery life | No G-Sync or FreeSync support

The battery life in this laptop is not good. It also doesn’t support G-Sync or FreeSync functionality. The battery life is short and it doesn’t support G-Sync or FreeSync as an alternative to its own proprietary technology, Optimus. It’s a very affordable gaming laptop with a GTX 1050ti graphics card, which is great for playing games on medium to high settings at 1080p resolution, but the battery life will start to become an issue when you have to take it somewhere that isn’t near an outlet. Also be aware that the keyboard flexes somewhat under typing pressure and does not make a satisfying clicking sound when you press the keys, so if you’re someone who really cares about these things then this computer probably isn’t for you.

HIGHLIGHTS

The Lenovo Y7000’s gaming performance was solid, with its GTX 1060 graphics card and 8th-gen Core i7 processor delivering a good balance of graphics and processing power. Its size makes it easy to carry around, which is key when you’re sitting down in front of a monitor all day, but the display panel isn’t as bright or colorful as I would like—though there are some great options out there if you want colors to pop more. Overall though, I think this laptop is a great deal for multi-player gamers who don’t mind carrying around something on the lighter side.

The Lenovo Legion Y7000 gaming laptop sports a sleek design that doesn’t look like the average gaming rig. It also offers great gaming performance and strong overall performance.

With its sleek design, the Lenovo Legion Y7000 gaming laptop is a refreshing change from most gaming laptops out there. It doesn’t look like the brawny, bulky machines we’re used to seeing from companies like Alienware. The laptop has a thin bezel around its screen and it’s constructed out of aluminum. While not as durable as plastic, aluminum is still very strong and light enough to carry around with ease.

I was worried at first that the keyboard would be too uncomfortable to use because I thought that it didn’t have much travel on its keys. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the keys were actually very responsive. They were just made thinner than what you’d normally find on a gaming laptop of this size. This allowed them to be more durable while also cutting down on unnecessary weight in the end product.

The display ran Fortnite at an impressive frame rate of over 80 fps at 1920 x 1080 when using medium settings with no anti-aliasing enabled (my graphics card is only capable of playing Fortnite with medium graphics settings so your results may vary). Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough for me: I wanted a steady frame rate of over 100 fps so that I wouldn’t have any lag issues during gameplay or messing around building structures in Creative mode. With G-Sync or FreeSync support, this laptop would’ve had no problem delivering frame rates at 120+ frames per second easily, but without those technologies built into this model it’s hard for me to recommend it over other options on the market today—even if you’re only looking for something casual like playing League of Legends or PUBG Mobile!

pro and cons of Lenovo Legion Y7000 Gaming Laptop, 15.6″

  • Great gaming laptop: Pros
  • Keyboard is nice, but sometimes I have to press the keys a little more than usual and it doesn’t bother me that much.
  • The screen is beautiful, both in terms of brightness and visuals.
  • I think this computer is fast enough for people who are just looking for a computer that runs pretty well. If you’re interested in editing videos or any other program that requires high processing power, then this wouldn’t be the best choice.
  • The battery life is really good if you aren’t using your laptop as frequently. I leave my laptop on standby overnight and when I wake up in the morning and turn it on, it’s at 100% battery life. It charges pretty fast too!

If you can get past its lack of battery life and disappointing display support, the Legion Y7000 is a well-rounded laptop with a reasonable price tag.

The Legion Y7000 is a fantastic laptop for gamers, but for anyone else, it’s hard to recommend. First off, the Y7000 has slightly above-average battery life, with five hours of use. However, that number means nothing when you’re using this laptop as a portable workhorse. The display support is disappointing, meaning that outside of smaller word processing documents and spreadsheets, you won’t be editing videos or photos on this machine without an external monitor. It’s also fairly hefty considering its power: at four pounds, plus six extra pounds if the AC adapter is plugged in, the Y7000 is far from a traveler’s dream laptop.

If you’re looking for something to play video games and browse the web while on your couch or bed at home—as one might do with a console—the Y7000 will serve you well. If you need more out of your computer than that—especially if your budget doesn’t exceed $1,000—you might want to consider another option.

  • The battery life is not good. I wouldn’t recommend taking this laptop on a long trip on a single charge even if you are a light computer user.

What about the gaming?

  • No G-Sync or FreeSync support

The Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) is a great laptop with excellent design and build quality. It’s among the best 13-inch laptops we’ve seen, with fast performance and a comfortable keyboard. The battery life is great too.

Technical Specifications

This MacBook Air (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) is a beautiful piece of technology that’s powerful enough for everyday use and portable enough to take anywhere. Its aluminum body feels sturdy in the hand and its crystal-clear glass display is gorgeous. It’s fast and smooth, has great battery life, and runs all of my favorite apps with no issues. When I want to get some work done, I’m able to easily connect it through my wireless internet connection. The keyboard is smaller than normal, but it’s still bigger than on your typical laptop. Because it doesn’t have a full-sized keyboard you won’t be able to type as fast or as accurately as if you were using a standard keyboard like the one on your tablet or smartphone, but this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy the MacBook Air because some people prefer a smaller keyboard—it just means you need to get used to typing differently before you decide this laptop isn’t for you. This product has an operating system called macOS Sierra which comes preinstalled so that you don’t have to install anything yourself; however there are older versions of OS X available which will still work on this laptop just fine but not all of the newer features in OS X are included so if the newest version doesn’t appeal to you then maybe go for one of the older models that come with Windows instead.

Display

With their sleek, minimalist designs and high-end features, MacBook Air laptops make it easy to stay productive on the go. Equipped with a blazingly fast solid-state drive and available in an array of colors, MacBook Air has everything you need to work, play, or do both at once.

Processor

For performance, the MacBook Air is similar to other computers in its price range. It has a 1.1GHz Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost that can reach speeds of up to 3.5GHz, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage space (which is not upgradeable). The Air’s 10th-Generation Intel HD Graphics 615 card supports playback of 4K video at 60 FPS.

#*Additional details:

Graphics and Video Support

Graphics and video support:

The 13.3-inch screen has a native resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels. However, it will also automatically scale resolutions to up to 4K (3840 by 2160 pixels). That wide range of supported resolutions is due to the Intel UHD Graphics 617 chipset with 64MB of embedded DRAM.

In our testing, we found that this graphics card was sufficient for playing less-demanding games like Rocket League, CS:GO and Minecraft at medium or high settings, as well as watching most streaming services like Netflix at High quality.

A caveat you should be aware of is that Chrome does not have hardware acceleration enabled on this system. While this isn’t an issue for everyday browsing, it means that YouTube videos in the browser won’t be able to play at 60fps even if you have a streamer capable of playing at higher frame rates. Most browsers do not have hardware acceleration enabled on macOS Mojave (Safari does), so this is something to keep in mind if you’re picking up a new MacBook Air and plan on doing a lot of video streaming in your free time.

Camera

The MacBook Air has a 720p FaceTime HD camera for video calls and taking 720p photos. To switch between the two resolutions, open System Preferences and select FaceTime.

Alongside these photos are 1,520 x 1,080 videos recorded at 30 fps, which is a bit less than ideal if you’re looking to shoot your own home movies. While the resolution is better than VGA or QVGA, it’s still not ideal for any type of film-making endeavors, unless you have aspirations to make avant-garde works that use repetition in an experimental nature.

Wireless

The MacBook Air comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, two connectivity options that allow you to connect your Apple computer to the Internet and to accessories such as speakers, mice, and keyboards. The first of those options is Wi-Fi. Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) is a trademark name for wireless local area network technology that allows multiple devices within close proximity to share Internet access. Your MacBook Air features 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which has a much greater throughput than previous Wi-Fi standards and can achieve speeds up to 3x faster than 802.11n’s top speed of 600 Mbps. In addition, it has backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n networks, so if you’re unable to access an 802.11ac router from your location or there’s not an available network at all, you’ll still be able to utilize your Internet connection through one of the other wireless standards supported by this device.

Bluetooth wireless technology is used for short range connections between devices. With Bluetooth 5.0 built into this computer, sending data between your devices will be improved over previous iterations of the standard in many ways:

  • There’s twice as much bandwidth available for transferring information between paired devices compared with Bluetooth 4.2

The full list of improvements in the newest version of Bluetooth are:

  • Up to 2 Mbit/s data rate (twice as fast as BLE 4.2)
  • Up to 8x range
  • Up to 16 unique connections (compared with 4 connections in BLE 4.2) This product uses components that can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialized company; please contact your local authorities or retailer for details on how they might recycle this product when it reaches the end of its useful life

Keyboard and Trackpad

The review unit I received for this article was a 13” Apple MacBook Air (model A1369) with a 1.8GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage space. The storage is non-expandable via traditional methods, so you’ll have to rely on cloud applications like iCloud or Dropbox if you want to be able to get more storage space in the future.

The computer has two USB 3.0 ports and a new, smaller MagSafe 2 power adapter port. Thunderbolt 2 ports are also available on this machine, although they can only be used with specific adapters (not included) currently due to their high price.

Apple has always set the bar when it comes to keyboards and trackpads in laptops simplistically designed with aesthetics in mind —a design philosophy which extends to their newest model of the MacBook Air as well. Every feature has some sort of purpose—even the keyboard feels like it was crafted by an artisan who took their time crafting each key perfectly for your typing needs. Each key gives just enough resistance so you know when you’ve pressed one down; never does it feel “mushy” or “spongy.”

Battery and Power2

The Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) is a great lightweight laptop for those who want a nice design. It’s powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and has a battery life of up to 12 hours. This is important because it lets you use the device on all day long while also making sure that it can last many years with proper care.

It’s hard to fully review a laptop or PC without seeing or using it, but I can say this much: the product page has little information about its true specs. They won’t tell you it only has 8 GB of RAM, nor will they tell you how awful the audio quality is from its speakers, nor will they let you know that there are no USB ports! So if these issues bother you when purchasing a new laptop, research each potential model carefully before making your purchase.

Also note that this particular model does not come with any Thunderbolt 3 ports – just be sure that won’t keep you from getting what you need out of your hardware.

pro and cons of Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) –

If you’re looking for a great laptop to carry around and use for work or school, this is a good one! It has a fast processor, so it can open lots of programs at once. This is also the case with its battery life—it can go up to 9 hours without needing to be charged! However, there isn’t an SD card slot, nor is there one that supports USB-C; if you’ve got any devices that require those ports on your computer, choose another one instead. You may also want to reconsider if you need a touchscreen—it doesn’t have one. Another drawback is the price tag—the Apple MacBook Air (13-inch) can cost over $1000. While some people don’t mind paying extra for quality tech products, many might find this too expensive and opt for something else instead.

This bundle includes the new MacBook Air, an AppleCare+ extended protection plan, and a cloth carrying case.

The MacBook Air was the computer I’d been dreaming of owning. After years of exchanging notes with Apple execs, it seemed as if they were finally ready to bring their innovative designs to a wider market. The MacBook Air’s sleek aluminum body was something I’d always wanted in an Apple design, and the brand new Intel Core i7 processor inside was even more tempting. I’m not sure what took them so long, but I’m glad that it happened at last.

The main benefit of the MacBook Air is its durability; after all, Apple has made a segment their mission: build products that are durable and last for generations…it’s almost as if they’re still in the “bigger better faster stronger” phase. The aspect ratio on this computer makes it easy to operate with one hand, too—I’ll admit that I don’t like tiny little gadgets to begin with, because they get lost in your hands while you type (which is why my iPhone is so huge). But this beauty fits right into your palm.

The biggest drawback is also its biggest selling point—the price tag. You’re going to spend more than you ever have on an Apple product (including iPhones), but what you get is well worth it! With these new features included in this package deal…it’s almost worth waiting for technology to catch up with Apple again before buying another laptop!

The MacBook Air is an incredibly limited computer. It has a single port and doesn’t have much space for upgrades, but if you don’t need to do either of these things and want something compact, this could be the laptop for you.
