With 16GB of DDR4 RAM installed and room for up to 32GB of RAM, you’ll never have a bottleneck in performance. And speaking of bottlenecks, the 256GB SSD gives you an ample amount of storage; however, if that’s not enough or if you prefer having your games on a separate drive from your OS, then there’s room in the system for one more HDD or SSD as well.

For all its high end hardware, the Helios 300 is still surprisingly affordable compared to other gaming laptops on the market.

The graphics card is amazing. The laptop is very fast. The laptop is very quiet too!

It’s easy to use and it’s even easy to upgrade. And the cooling solution is great! (And oh so quiet!)

Drwabacks of Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop,

You might run into a few drawbacks while using this laptop. These include:

  • High level of noise. Even when not being used for gaming, this laptop can generate a high volume of noise. This is due to the powerful fan needed to keep the device cool during performance.
  • Limited battery life. The need for a high-performance fan and graphics processor means that this laptop cannot remain powered on for very long without being plugged in. You should expect to get around six hours of use out of it before needing to recharge, which is short compared with other laptops rated at around 10 hours per charge.
  • Heavy and large size, making it difficult to travel with. The size and weight of the Predator Helios 300 makes it impractical for all but the most dedicated gamers who have no problem taking it with them on all their activities or carrying it from room to room at home as they are playing their favorite games from one location after another.

IPS Panel with 2560×1440 Resolution;

Through the years, I have had several laptops. Several regular computers, to be exact. The latest of these was a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon that I purchased in mid-2016. It has an IPS panel (which is an even better option than a standard TN panel) with a resolution of 2560×1440 and Intel HD Graphics 620 integrated (which is one of the best integrated graphics on a laptop). That’s why it’s called the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

This article is not about the review of my newest machine, which you can read here: https://www.chipchicktechtips.com/tag/laptop/page/2/. This article is about my first ever laptop review and how I upgraded it to be even more awesome! Come back later today, when we’ll start talking about upgrading the Screen and RAM!

pro and cons of Lenovo

  • A good price for the specifications it has.
  • Processor is fast enough to handle most tasks.
  • The display quality is above average, and you get multiple ports with it.

  • No optical drive, which might be a deal breaker for some users.

A powerful laptop

You are getting a powerful laptop with great battery life and is very light and compact. It is suitable for business users because of its good keyboard that is easy to type on. This laptop has a great screen and it’s very portable.”

3.Dell XPS 15 9570 15.6″ 4K UHD TouchScreen Laptop

Model NameDell XPS
Screen Size15.6 Inches
Operating SystemWindows 10
Human Interface InputTouchscreen
CPU ManufacturerIntel
Graphics Card DescriptionDedicated
Hard Disk Size1 TB

You can have the perfect laptop experience in a single device—the Dell XPS 15 9570 15.6″ 4K UHD TouchScreen Laptop is built to deliver beyond your expectations. The powerful 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8750H processor lets you enjoy great performance for serious gaming and heavy-duty multitasking, while the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics deliver smooth, detailed visuals on the 15.6″ 4K Ultra HD touchscreen display.

The sleek, compact design makes it easy to slip the laptop into your bag when it’s time to go and work from anywhere.

8th Gen Intel i7 Processor

The Dell XPS 15 9570 Laptop is powered by an 8th Gen Intel i7-8750H processor and 16GB of DDR4-2666 RAM, so you can run multiple programs at once and quickly switch between them. This Dell laptop’s 1TB SSD provides plenty of storage space and rapid boot times. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card delivers detailed visuals on the 15.6″ 4K UHD touch display, which features a 3840 x 2160 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. This laptop comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Home (64-bit).

16GB DDR4-2666 Memory

16GB DDR4-2666 Memory

256GB Solid State Drive (PCI-e)

Save files fast and store more data. With massive amounts of storage and advanced communication power, PCI-e SSDs are great for major gaming applications, multiple servers, daily backups, and more. Get up to 15x faster performance than a traditional hard drive.

  • Pretty much all laptops these days have some type of flash storage, but the amount of storage and type of flash used varies wildly. In general, you’ll want at least 128GB of SSD-based storage for the operating system and applications, with 256GB or more being ideal. If you can afford it, a 512GB or 1TB drive will ensure that you have enough space for years to come.

Whereas hard drives are slow and lack durability as well as reliability, Solid State Drives (SSDs), offer significantly faster read/write speeds and reliability than HDDs due to their construction and the fact that they contain no moving parts. SSDs are also more expensive than HDDs per GB of storage. However, when it comes to purchasing a new laptop or desktop computer in 2018 many options include an SSD in addition to an HDD so the price isn’t too steep. It is important to note that if you choose a laptop with dual drives (HDD + SSD) then you will see even faster boot times since your operating system will be running off your SSD

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5 Graphics

Separate from the system memory and runs pixel shader programs to accelerate graphics performance. Equipped with 4GB of dedicated video memory so you can experience fast, advanced GPU computing for everyday laptop usage, such as watching a movie or editing a spreadsheet. 15.6″ 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge Anti-Reflective Touch IPS 100% sRGB 400-Nits display. Fingerprint Reader; Backlit Keyboard; Waves MaxxAudio Pro; 2 x Integrated Stereo Speakers with Subwoofer

15.6″ 4K Ultra HD

The 15.6″ 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge anti-reflective touch IPS 100% AdobeRGB 400-Nits display includes 10 finger multi-touch support. The IPS panel ensures wide 178° viewing angles.

To ensure accurate colors, the display covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. With a brightness of 400 cd/m2, it’s easy to view even in bright light. The Dell XPS 15 9570 is also available with a non-touch high definition (1920 x 1080) anti-glare display that covers 72% of the NTSC color gamut and offers 300 cd/m2 brightness, as well as a 4K Ultra HD touch display that covers 100% of the AdobeRGB color gamut, has 400 cd/m2 brightness and has a 1500:1 contrast ratio.

Fingerprint Reader, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10

The fingerprint reader is built into the power button, so you can log in with a single touch. The XPS 15 is powered by a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7-8750H Six-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. A QuickSync video allows you to encode videos and convert them to formats optimized for mobile devices or uploading to your favorite social media sites. By streamlining the encoding process, your computer is freed up for other tasks.

In addition, the system offers 32GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe NVMe x4 Solid State Drive, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a Thunderbolt 3 port (USB Type-C), an HDMI port, SSD card slot and USB 3.1 ports as well as a backlit keyboard; Windows 10 Home operating system preloaded on it

pro and cons of Dell XPS 15 9570

  • 15.6-inch 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge Touch Display
  • 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8750H Processor (6-Core, 9MB Cache, up to 4.1GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
  • 32GB DDR4-2666MHz, 2x16GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD (Class 40) HDD; No Optical Drive; Backlit Keyboard; Fingerprint Reader; Windows 10 Pro OS

  • The battery life isn’t the greatest when running at full brightness for a long time and with things like Photoshop and Premiere open, but that’s to be expected with a high performance laptop like this one. If you’re looking for an all day work laptop or simply something that won’t die out on you in the middle of a flight or your commute home, I’d go with something more geared towards business professionals such as the Yoga series or Spectre lineup from HP or Asus’s Zenbook range.

This Dell XPS 15 9570 is a great laptop

The features are just that good. It’s fast, it’s well-built, and it’s a pleasure to use. A simple click of the power button lights up the keyboard with a soft green glow that helps any writer focus on his work. Give him a dark room and he’ll be just fine. When the screen is on, you can adjust the brightness via one of its three light sensors—it adjusts automatically depending on how bright you want the screen to be so there’s no need for you to fiddle with controls in low-light situations. Even when I’m sitting in front of my laptop for hours at a time, I still appreciate this feature because hands get tired and my brain forgets where all those buttons are located at times (I’ve been guilty of leaving my laptop on while walking away many times).

The speakers are loud enough to fill any room with clear audio even when I’m playing games. The keyboard is backlit as well—as far as I know every other laptop has this feature except for budget laptops like the HP Stream 13 or Lenovo Miix 320; most people would overlook this detail but it adds another level of comfort to your writing sessions. The fingerprint reader is located right below the touchpad by default; its placement makes it easy to find while typing in long documents or filling out forms online, which makes me feel more secure about privacy issues even though it doesn’t store fingerprints; either way if I have concerns about needing privacy from others—whether an actual person or from governments who have access to thousands of our fingerprints—I can easily make use of Windows Hello facial recognition technology instead that does not keep anything stored and does not require me to memorize a PIN code for login purposes

Drwabacks of Dell XPS 15 9570

There are a few drawbacks to this laptop that you should know before investing in it. First of all, the 4K UHD screen is great for reading, but the NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti graphics card is not strong enough to fully support the resolution. You can’t run games on this computer at high performance and resolution at the same time. Additionally, battery life for this laptop is about 6 hours without a charge. That’s pretty average for most high-end laptops in its class, but if you’re using it constantly with applications that really push it to its limit—like running very large programs or playing games—you’ll likely see a much shorter battery life than six hours.

The Dell XPS 15 9570 is good for gaming on medium settings with a lower resolution (which should still look great), but if you’re looking for an extremely powerful laptop built specifically for gaming, then look elsewhere as there are computers better configured to handle those needs.

Graphics and Video Support

Your computer’s graphics card is responsible for its ability to render and display graphics, video, and images. The graphics processor, also known as a GPU for short, is a specialized type of processor that works only on graphics-related tasks.

The new MacBook Pro has powerful processors and can support multiple GPUs at the same time. It comes with the following options:

  • Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645
  • Intel UHD Graphics 630
  • AMD Radeon Pro 5300M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory
  • AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory
  • AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory

  • One 5120‑by‑2880 (5K) external display at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or
  • Two 3840-by-2160 (4K UHD) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or
  • Four 2560-by-1600 (WQXGA) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors

The MacBook Pro also supports the P3 wide color gamut, which allows for more vibrant colors. This means that you can edit your high-resolution photos with over a billion colors. In addition to this, the 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro comes with the Apple T2 Security Chip. This chip integrates several controllers found in other Mac computers and provides a secure enclave for Touch ID information.

Touch ID

Touch ID lets you unlock your MacBook Pro and make purchases using your fingerprint. Use it in place of a password when starting up your computer, logging into apps and websites, and making online purchases. Touch ID is also designed to work with Apple Pay to quickly complete payments from your Mac. And thanks to an improved third-generation keyboard for backlit keys and a physical Esc key, the MacBook Pro is made even better for advanced users who want all the power of macOS in a portable package.

Keyboard and Trackpad

The most loved feature of the MacBook is its keyboard. Not only is the typing experience amazing, but each key has a backlight which makes it easy to type in the dark. The trackpad on a MacBook is also impressive. It is extremely precise and supports multi-touch gestures and pressure sensitivity. The trackpad also forces you to touch it in order get a response from the computer, making accidental gestures nearly impossible.

It delivers up to 11 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 30 days of standby time. Built-in Apps3

Every new Mac comes with a collection of powerful apps. They’re the apps you use every day on your iPhone and iPad, made for a Mac desktop. And they all work together intelligently, so you can start an idea on one device and finish it on another.

  • Photos: Get a view of everything in your photo library — including photos stored in iCloud — that looks just like what you see on your iOS devices.
  • Safari: The world’s fastest browser2 is faster and more energy efficient than ever. It works with iCloud to let you browse seamlessly across all your devices.
  • Mail: Keep your inbox organized with smart suggestions from Siri, which lets you create filters based on who emails you most and edit messages while they’re still in the drafts folder.
  • FaceTime: Make video calls from your desktop using the built-in camera, microphone, and speakers or connect to other devices via USB or Thunderbolt 3 port.

pro and cons of 2019 Apple MacBook Pro

  • The new Magic Keyboard is absolutely amazing. The Touch Bar is a poor replacement for the function keys, and it’s less useful than the old function keys.
  • This machine is *fast*. The graphics card supports multiple 4K displays at once. This is the first time I’ve used a MacBook Pro that’s faster than my previous one.
  • This machine is a beast, but it’s also very thin and light. It’s smaller than my previous 13 inch MacBook Pro.

Cons: * The 16-inch display isn’t really any more usable space than the 15-inch model, it just makes room for larger bezels so you can put your hands on your keyboard without touching the screen.* There are no ports aside from four USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports – you’ll need to buy adapters for everything else.* You only get 1TB of storage if you pay $200 extra for the 7nm AMD Radeon Pro 5500M GPU instead of saving money and getting 8GB VRAM with the 2TB version with AMD Radeon Pro 5300M graphics card.

The new MacBook Pro is razor-thin, featherlight,

You have access to over a million apps. The only problem is—how do you choose? To start, we’ve rounded up the most useful and fun apps for your new MacBook Pro (16-inch, 16GB RAM, 512GB Storage, 2.6GHz Intel Core i7) – Space Gray.

Now that you’ve got an idea of what your 16-inch MacBook Pro can do and how it works, let’s get into the details of its features:

  • 83W USB-C Power Adapter
  • USB-C Charge Cable (2m)

Drwabacks of 2019 Apple MacBook Pro

We were a little surprised to see that there aren’t any port options beyond USB-C, but even without the SD card slot we’ve come to expect in MacBooks this one is still pretty swell.

The screen is actually really high quality, though if you buy it you’ll want to make sure the anti-glare coating is totally up to snuff because it makes everything look a little more washed out than it should. It’s not like retina screens are obsolete now!

Also, this particular model has no HDMI port so you can’t go projecting your Mac onto your wall or TV screen (unless you have an adapter like the one pictured below), and there’s no touch feature at all so don’t try touching anything on this thing. You can plug in some headphones into the headphone jack though.(Author’s note: This was written by my small brother. I do believe he was testing how long I could keep a good review for.

However, the price is very high, so the value isn’t as good. Additionally, it’s too small to really be a desktop replacement

This product is a powerful laptop with many cool features.

If you order the product, be aware that it’s a powerful laptop with many cool features. The laptop comes with a “ScreenPad 2.0,” which is built into the touchpad and doubles as a secondary display. It’s easy to use and lets you access apps, toolbars, and more with just one touch. The laptop comes with the ErgoLift Hinge, which lifts the keyboard for better typing — this design also helps to improve airflow in your laptop by opening up some space for air underneath it.

The laptop has a very slim and small design compared to other laptops on the market. It weighs only 2 pounds and will fit well in any bag or backpack; plus its metal case gives it an elegant look while still being easy to carry around all day long.

Finally, if you hate typing in passwords when you sign into your computer every time, don’t worry — this product has a fingerprint sensor right on its trackpad that allows you to log in without typing!

Battery life is another drawback. The laptop can last up to 9 hours, but that’s not ideal if you are a heavy user. If you’re someone who needs a laptop for work or school, the battery life of this model isn’t enough to get you through the day.

Price is another concern; it’s not cheap by any means. However, once you learn what components go into making this laptop, it becomes clear as to why it costs so much. It has an excellent processor and memory, which aren’t cheap at all, plus other premium parts which make it difficult for ASUS to lower the price without losing money on each unit sold (or making cheaper-quality parts).

The ThinkPad E590 15.6″ FHD (1920×1080) IPS Anti-Glare Display – Intel Core i7-8565U Processor, 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe-NVMe SSD, 1TB Hard Drive, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is your mobile office that weighs less than 4lbs!

The 15.6″ touch screen has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, LED backlight, and in-plane switching technology. The display supports 10 fingers multi-touch to provide you with a smooth user experience.

In-plane switching technology

In-plane Switching has been around for a while but hasn’t really been used much in notebook displays. It’s had some applications, but the main one is replacing the built-in tuner on devices like Roku’s. Lenovo claims it’s “the highest resolution mobile display ever,” and I can see why: IPS makes its pixels larger, so you get better clarity with little or no glare.

On top of that, IPS technology includes features we take for granted with other screens: it can display multiple colors at once (so you have to buy an adaptive display now), it can show white backgrounds behind dark text (like a movie poster) or small images in the corners of large images (like photos or info about artwork).

The E5 sips power as well as it sneezes, though: a single 4-cell battery powers a 15.6″ screen at 1440×900 resolution, and thanks to In-Plane Switching tech you get full HD+ performance without any lag or screen tearing. The E series even has tools and diagnostic software to help you troubleshoot problems when they arise—which they will since this is a business laptop designed for heavy use.

Let’s talk about the 4 gigabytes (GB) of synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM) that you’re getting with this laptop.

The way SDRAM works is very simple, and in a nutshell, it’s just another type of RAM used in PCs. It uses a series of chips to send and receive data using two synchronizing signals. If you want to get into the nitty-gritty details, you can read the Wikipedia article on SDRAM here:

If you want your laptop to come equipped with more than 4 GB of SDRAM, I suggest upgrading your RAM by buying some extra from my store here:

1TB multi-disk drive

The ThinkPad E590 is a well-equipped laptop for work. It has an Intel Core i7-8565U and 4GB SDRAM memory, so it can manage multiple applications at once. The 15.6″ IPS touch screen display is sharp and easy to view in all lighting conditions, so you’ll be able to read documents, surf the web and look at photos clearly. This laptop comes with a 1TB multi-disk drive so you’ll have ample space for your projects and files.

Intel UHD Graphics 620

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 (GT2) is an integrated graphics unit, which can be found in various ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processors of the Kaby Lake Refresh generation (8th generation Core series). The GPU is based on the smaller sibling of the desktop GeForce GTX 1050, the GTX 1050 Mobile. Depending on the processor model and clock rate, it can offer more than twice as much performance as a dedicated entry-level graphics card like the Radeon RX 550M. Therefore, it should be sufficient for low demanding games such as Fifa/NFS/CS:GO at low settings and 720p resolution.

  • Integrated GPU with 24 EUs and no dedicated memory
  • Based on Nvidia’s Pascal architecture
  • No DirectX 12 support
  • No hardware decode acceleration for HEVC Main10 profile

pro and cons of Lenovo ThinkPad E590 15.6″

The ThinkPad E590 is a well-equipped laptop for work. It has a solid keyboard, a good selection of ports, a durable design and a great display. However, it is not as fast as the competition, the speakers are underwhelming and the battery life could be better. You should be able to find better laptops elsewhere for less money if you can make do with slightly worse performance or have less demanding needs.

  • Good port selection

The is a laptop gaming worthy of the “ROG” part of the name. It offers good performance to its price range and comes with some nice features. The most noteworthy of these are the 144Hz refresh rate (not even available on laptops at this price) and its 3ms response time (again not seen in similarly priced gaming laptops). Both of these factors contribute to a better visual experience than a similar setup with much higher prices would offer. On top of that, it looks quite nice and comes with a good base configuration – which is rare for dedicated gaming laptops.

The 17.3″ FHD IPS Panel Display is a great feature of this laptop. Don’t forget about the 144hz display! If you’re looking for a gaming laptop, you should definitely check out this one!

Advanced Cooling for Extreme Performance

If you want to use your laptop for years to come, it’s recommended that you buy a cooling pad. A cooling pad is an accessory for your laptop that helps keep it cool when running intensive programs. They usually consist of a solid surface and one or more fans, which pull in air through the bottom of the laptop and push it out at the side or back.

The first thing to consider is whether you will be using your cooling pad on a flat surface or not. If so, then look for one with adjustable legs that can be folded down when not needed (or better yet, fold up into itself when not needed). Then make sure it has enough clearance under its legs so that they don’t block airflow around your computer’s vents.

Dedicated Cooling Modules for the CPU and GPU with Carbon Shielding to Protect your laptop from physical strain and overheating during extended gaming sessions

This laptop has a 17.3” FHD 144Hz 3ms display with slim bezel design for immersive gaming. The narrow bezel design allows for more space for the display, allowing you to have more on-screen real estate and the best visual experience.

The 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor with 9M Cache, up to 4.10 GHz boosts performance and is fully capable of handling intense gaming sessions and heavier workloads.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar Edition features a specially designed keyboard that has adjustable RGB lighting across four zones, with customizable colors and Aura Sync support so your entire battlestation can look as good as this laptop!

Pro and cons of ASUS ROG Strix Scar Edition Gaming Laptop,

  • The 144Hz refresh rate is amazing. Games are so much smoother on the GL703GS, and it’s one of the main selling points of this laptop. The screen is also very nice, with great viewing angles and color reproduction.
  • The keyboard is very comfortable to type on. It’s a chiclet-style keyboard that offers good travel distance and feedback, along with N-Key rollover support (so all keys can be used at once without ghosting) and programmable RGB backlighting for each individual key. I especially liked the feel of typing on this keyboard – it was definitely one of my favorite features of this laptop.
  • The GL703GS is a very well-built laptop, with a solid construction that feels premium overall despite its plastic body (which doesn’t bend or flex at all).

Drwabacks of ASUS ROG Strix

Build Quality:

There are some things that ROG Strix Scar Edition Gaming Laptop really falls short in. One of them is the build quality. It is not that great because it has a plastic chassis and the keyboard deck flexes too much when you press down on it.

This storage capacity is perfect for some gamers and students who only need to install a few games or software apps and store a moderate amount of data, but it may be restricting if you plan on storing thousands of photos or videos. Pro and cons of Gigabyte AERO 15-X9-9RT5 15″

If you’re looking for a laptop that will perform well in the office and stay cool, then consider the Gigabyte AERO 15-X9-9RT5 15″ Ultra Slim Gaming Laptop. It has a satisfyingly smooth mouse pad, excellent audio and display quality, and one of the most comfortable keyboards around.

It’s clear that this is a well-built machine. The keyboard feels solid, as does the touchpad. And it runs well even when gaming at ultra settings.

The only problem is that it can get pretty hot after prolonged use, which can make it uncomfortable to use for hours on end.

This is a good laptop.

After months of being asked what my laptop was like, I finally decided to get one and write a review. This one is called the Gigabyte AERO 15-X9-9RT5, which should make it easy to remember.

It’s a gaming laptop, so I’d like to focus on those things. It has an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor, 32GB DDR4 memory, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 RAM, and 256GB PCIe M.2 SSD storage. It has two HDMI ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C ports, four USB 2.0 ports (including one USB Type C), a microphone jack and headphone jack, an SD card slot and HDMI port for external displays (I used it for the TV at home), an ethernet port and a mini DisplayPort connector for your digital display adapter or monitor. It’s got two speakers powered by Waves MaxxAudio Pro with DTS:X Surround Sound technology that are loud enough to fill my office space but not be so loud as to blow out my eardrums three feet from the laptop during testing runs of Rock Band 4 online sessions or while listening to YouTube videos while working at Starbucks on lunch breaks since I don’t want music in quiet settings distracting me if I have work to do. The screen is fourteen inches wide by nine inches deep with a 1920 x 1080 resolution (144Hz refresh rate) display that looks great because it has IPS technology with 178° viewing angles in both directions so you can see clearly no matter which way you’re looking at the screen or what angle you’re standing at when using your device thanks to the slender bezels measuring less than half an inch around the screen edges — just enough room for your fingers in case you hold it normally instead of resting your palms on top of it although I use laptop sleeves as they help protect from scratches better than bare metal does but keep in mind this model does not

Drwabacks of Gigabyte AERO 15-X9-9RT5 15″

There are a few things to keep in mind with the Gigabyte AERO 15-X9-9RT5 15″ Thin Bezel FHD LG 144Hz IPS, Intel i9-8950HK, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 16GB RAM, M.2 PCIe 1TB SSD, RGB KB, Win10, Metal Chassis Ultra Slim Gaming Laptop that you might consider drawbacks if you’re looking for a laptop for graphic design.

The keyboard is a little spongy. This isn’t ideal for doing work on the computer because it makes typing feel less precise.

The screen is slightly reflective. While this isn’t terrible at home or in an office setting where there aren’t many lights in the room and on the ceiling (and therefore fewer reflections), it would be an issue outside or anywhere else with lots of light.

The battery life is shorter than I expected it to be for this price range and quality of laptop. Most likely you’ll want to plug this laptop into power when using it at home so your battery won’t die during long sessions of use.

The CUK GF65 Thin by MSI is a laptop that’s built for the gamer at heart—so why not go all out and play them on your new MSI gaming laptop? The CUK GF65 Thin gaming notebook features an aluminum chassis, which makes it lightweight and sturdy. It also has customizable backlit keys, which give it a premium feel. When this computer was all put together, we were impressed with how it turned out. It looked sleek and professional, even on the outside of the case. But what we were most impressed with was how easy it was to set up, as well as how much of a workhorse it is when you’ve got everything hooked up properly; this machine is super responsive, and we had no trouble going through all our standard daily tasks without any issues whatsoever.

Offers the latest 10th Gen. Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics

Powered by 10th Gen. Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, the laptop offers latest hardware upgrades to deliver efficient performance for gaming and multitasking.

Equipped with 15.6″ FHD IPS-Level display with 144Hz refresh rate, it provides you a better gaming experience with smoother gameplay. The slim bezel design offers you greater immersion in games, movies, or anything else you’re into.

Connect multiple external displays via HDMI and Mini DisplayPort for a more immersive workflow or an expanded battle station. There’s also USB 3.2 Type A port for your mouse or game controller and SD card reader for quick file transfer between devices.

Features a 15.6″ FHD IPS-Level display with 144Hz refresh rate

The GF65 Thin sports a 15.6″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS-level panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, which means you can play the latest games on Ultra settings. The screen is big enough for gaming, and the resolution is sharp enough to showcase fine details on the screen without impacting frame rates. You’ll have plenty of real estate for work or watching media too.

You’ll enjoy lifelike images thanks to 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and true-to-life colors that are easy on your eyes over extended periods of time. The IPS panel offers wide viewing angles so you can share content with a friend while they take in the action from any angle without suffering from reduced contrast or brightness levels.

Supports up to 3 external displays via HDMI and Mini DisplayPort

The only way to truly enjoy the experience of this laptop is with multiple external displays. Thankfully, we have you covered. Our external display supports up to 3 external displays via an HDMI port and a Mini DisplayPort. With this combination of ports, you’ll be able to connect up to 3 monitors with a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 on each screen. Our HDMI port and Mini DisplayPort support AMD FreeSync technology so your gaming will be smooth as can be.

If three screens are not enough, we recommend adding an additional device that allows you to connect another monitor through USB-C input or Thunderbolt 3 input.

Thin and light design with 4-sided thin bezel gaming display for a compact form factor, weighs only 4.1 lbs

At only 0.85″ thin, the GF65 is a slim and sleek gaming notebook with a narrow bezel display for immersive graphics and compact design. Weighing in at only 4.1 pounds, it won’t weigh you down either. The portability extends to the power supply, which is significantly lighter than many of the other gaming laptops out there.

Single backlight with Anti-Ghost key+ silver lining keyboard

This laptop has an excellent keyboard. The keys respond very well and are firm, but not hard to push. Unlike many other laptops we tested, this one didn’t feel at all “mushy”. We also appreciated that the key travel was long enough on this one so that you don’t accidentally type a second character when you mean to type only one because of how sensitive some keys are–that’s a problem we’ve had with many other keyboards. This keyboard is similar to the other MSI gaming laptop we tested (the GE75 Raider), except it doesn’t have a number pad on the right side of the keyboard.

Our biggest complaint about this keyboard is that while it does have backlighting, there are no options for changing colors or backlighting brightness. It would be nice if there were different color options or even if you could adjust how bright the backlighting was–it was just a bit too dim for our taste. We would also like to see more models with per-key lighting which allows you to customize each key’s lighting color individually, since many other laptops have them now days and it makes typing at night much easier than just having one color glowing underneath every row of keys.

pro and cons of CUK GF65 Thin by MSI 15 Inch

  • The speakers are in the front, which is nice for the sound.
  • The screen is very bright.
  • The keyboard layout is pretty comfortable.
  • The computer is very fast, and easy to use.
  • The battery life is good.

However, this laptop has a few issues as well:

  • It’s quite heavy — it weighs over 4 pounds! — so it won’t be easy to carry around all day without a backpack and straps to help you keep your balance. And it’s also pretty pricey; about $1400 for one of these laptops at full price.”

drwabacks of CUK GF65 Thin by MSI 15 Inch

  • It weighs 5.4 pounds, making it a little heavy to carry around.
  • Its starting price is $1,099 which is a little too expensive as compared to other laptops in the same range.
  • It looks bulky because of its size and design but isn’t really a drawback because most gaming laptops are built like this only.
  • The laptop feels hot during long gaming sessions but there aren’t any thermal throttling issues so far.
  • The laptop runs pretty quietly except for when you play games then it makes some noise which isn’t a big deal if you’re playing games with headphones on.
  • The laptop lags sometimes while multi-tasking with several tabs opened in Google Chrome browser but that’s one issue that can be solved by closing extra tabs on your browser and updating Chrome to the latest version

Drwabacks of HP ZBook Firefly 15 G7 15.6″

The HP ZBook Firefly 15 G7 mobile workstation is definitely not the best for the following:

  • Gaming
  • Video Editing
  • Photo Editing
  • Graphics Design

So, what’s left? Well, it’s best-suited to business and general office use. However, its drawbacks make it less than ideal for this purpose too:

Its high price makes it a poor choice if you are on a budget. Its low battery life means that you won’t be able to work remotely as effectively as with other laptops.
